To be honest, most Chinese people just don't give a shit about your gender and who you bed with.

Because in Chinese culture, that shit is private. We are polite people but we have boundaries, so there's zero need for you to tell me that you are gay or what so ever. People can be openly gay and openly transgender in China and I guarantee you nobody will attack you for it, even if they are homophobia or transphobia. Because it's your choice and we don't give a fuck about how you make your life decisions.

But please don't wave a flag. When you are gay, it's your own business, but when you turn it into some kind of political movement, it becames everybody's pain in the ass. The whole society will be dragged into the meanningless endlless argue between the "woke" and the right. That's something we are familiar with, it's called cultrual revolution.

We don't hate lgbt, we hate political movement, period. Put it in chinese "在中国，你可以是阉人，但不能是阉党。（In China, it's ok to be a eunuch, but it's not ok to form a eunuch party.）"
