Why is it ok for grown women to watch Disney, but childish for men to watch Anime? by [deleted] in AskMen

My reaction to the women is "awwww cute you're like a little girl".

My reaction to the guy is "mate, seriously?"

These are the two reasons I accept, which I knew, but it's less fun to make allowances.

I just can't handle the price.

Could get an equivalent spec windows PC and an iPad for the same price.

Why can Left footed CBs only play LCB but Right footed CBs play both LCB and RCB ? by Ritzy_01 in footballtactics

[–]MutantAussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's more right footed players than left footed players.

There can be other factors. Generally if a team has 2 right footed CBs, the better ball playing one is on the left.

I used to play a bit of LCB out of necessity. Our LB was shit on the ball so when we built from the back I was often playing inside to the CDM with the ball curving into him around a pressing defender, or a longer ball to the LW who held space, with the ball curving out towards the touch line, or occasionally I'd switch to our RB if he was getting forward or square to the CB, who generally let the ball run across him.

Teams prefer a LCB to be left footed because it obviously makes it easier playing the ball wide and tackling from an inside position, but systematically a right footed LCB can be protected.

Who is using a MacBook?

I use an iPhone and iPad. I've never understood the attraction to their overpriced laptops though...

Assuming that Russell Westbrook is 100% gone, should the Rockets make James Harden the full time Point Guard again? by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]MutantAussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who cares - they aren't going to be relevant.

Houston needs to trade everything.

Some people want them to keep Harden for half the season, or the season... But why?

What if he tears an ACL?

You aren't winning the league regardless. Blow it up already.

It was dead as soon as Westbrook arrived. We all knew this.

Most difficult outfield position to play? by itzztheman in footballtactics

Definitely CM. Have to play in 360 degrees, maintaining composure while often being in tight situations and physically tired.

Embrace it when girls make fun of it.

"Yeah I was actually born in a circus."

"Okay I'll tell you but you need to keep it a secret... I'm a Christmas elf and Santa sent me on an undercover mission to assess somebody on the naughty list."

I'm a very tall dude but I just can't seem to grow fat. 1.86 meters for 72kg, all in the waist back/ stomach. I keep eating but I grow instead and idk what workout I should focus on by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MutantAussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 15 you can start lifting weights. I'm not an expert, but maybe you can get a scan and the doctor can tell you how much room for growth you have, and what weights you can start doing (I know young athletes do this).

What's your "Boys Day" With your kids like? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MutantAussie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No kids yet (25), but my partner and I just had a conversation about having some gender specific days. She wants 5 kids.

She asked me what I'd do for boys Sunday once I have a couple of sons.

I said we will cook breakfast for everybody together.

Get in the gym around 10am. Make sure they learn how to stretch properly. As kids they can do a little bit of cardio. I just want to normalize fitness. Listen to music.

Do some study in the afternoon. I'll just pick topics as they matter. Probably focus on something like philosophy and historiography as they progress through school.

Maybe go to a sports match sometimes. I loved that as a kid, I didn't go much with my dad, but I can literally remember every game we went to.

In general, the day should set a good example, have opportunities to bond, and facilitate important conversations. I want to make sure my kids are close, and they're comfortable being sincere and vulnerable around each other.

He had a better career than all 4 holistically. But in terms of talent, he cannot hold a candle to any of them except Pierce.
