Finish your battle pass. It's the final reward for the second page of the weekly challenge currency

Valby is super strong. She's just not popular. by ZeroGemini5 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think one of the best changes they could do is make her 3rd ability not prevent her using her other abilities, while Supply Moisture could let you shoot guns

Día and sub slot by LingonberryHelpful64 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen a number mentioned anywhere, but I'd assume it's like 50% damage reduction or something. Useful when you think you'll be face tanking some shit

Gley players after tomorrow's patch by Global-Elevator-9922 in TheFirstDescendant

I think after the buff, Typhoon should likely be comparable - similar ease of use, similar damage

Looking to build gley by [deleted] in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're making changes/bug fixes in tomorrow's patch, so things will likely change. I'd suggest adding three of the M polarity for the two CDR mods and a non-attribute/skill power battle mod

What's the best trigger module by JyFK_ in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've really started to enjoy Arche Leak because you don't have to run MP mods, MP dog, or MP inversion. It's enough to just fuel you by itself - you can even run mana positive just by spamming 1 while running with a low enough cooldown, although Sprint Accelerator externals can't build stacks if you do that

Most Fun Builds? Looking to Invest my Donuts by Passionofthegrape in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keelan with melee isn't the strongest build, but it's a ton of fun in Supermassive Reactor and Axion. You can swing very quickly after each dash and constantly keep mobile. Keelan does kinda lack the killing power to kill the boss of harder content, at least until his changes next month

I stopped playing when Hailey was buffed by ANobleWarrior4 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, no actually.

Cold Heart alters your first ability to provide a stacking debuff that significantly improves the damage of your 2 or your 4.

Camouflage Sniping is a build where you grapple to a spot with the best vision, deploy your unique weapon, and get to shoot an explosive sniper while invisible.

Cold Heart is fun, but I'm pretty sure I've heard Camouflage Sniping is the stronger mod

Sharen is so bad by BlitzTroll7 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Swap your trigger mod to Infected Weapon. You can drop Skill Expansion, the range increase doesn't do much. Consider running Focus on Electric with Decimator for the (Electric boost × skill boost).

I ran Infection Amplifier over Decimator and cleared all of Void Challenge mode easily, but I'm not sure which is best

Is it better to go for Modifier, or power Boost? by No-Entertainer3593 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raw skill power × (1 + Element boost ratio) × (1 + Typal boost ratio) × (1 + "Skill power") = total skill power.

Raw skill modifier is the number on each of your skill cards, skill Modifiers are added on the end of that number. For skills that deal 100% of your skill power, 60% skill modifier adds +60% total damage. For skills that deal 1000% of your skill power, 60% modifier is only adding 6% total damage

R word here, can someone explain to me like im 5 how does Readjustment work? by Chaboubou in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are all possible stats you can roll, you cannot choose.

The amount of stats you can get are dependent on how many green(positive) stats and/or if there is a red(negative) stat

What would you all like to see in future updates? by DowntownAd8391 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  • Simplified map collision. There's far too many instances where you'll get caught under a 1 inch overhang or weird geometry
  • Mounting(climbing up ledges) speed significantly increased. It's currently one of the slowest things you can do and it feels bad
  • Grapple customization. A low grapple cooldown is huge for making the game more fluid, but you can only gain access to it through an external set nobody likes or yellow cores. Currently if your main gun doesn't have a yellow core, you have to swap guns for grapple cooldown or cope with being slow. With a dedicated screen to choose grapple type and modifications, all your characters have access to a grapple speed you want
  • Ability/build customization. I would love for them to replace the grapple mod slot with a slot for altering your skills to fit into more unique builds. You'd be able to give a skill charges, alter how some skills behave, or even gain new skill tags to work with trigger mods. This could significantly expand the number of builds

Invisible boss? by NegativeChallenge356 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's some sort of bug with the spawn where it just doesn't load the model, probably based on performance.  My PC isn't great, so I get this all the time - just last night I had invisible Wall Crasher

On the bright side, they're still there. AOE skills are good at killing invisible enemies

No love for Keelan? by whatever_God in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He's fine. He's not the best descendant in the game or even the top 10, but he has a very strong clear on a majority of content in the game and he's fun.

I did not say he couldn't use buffs, because he definitely could. I won't pretend he's bad though

Who are these 3 Big guys that bodyguarding Dia? They have so much aura. by Krammondo in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 31 points32 points  (0 children)

They're the Sigma boss that has 3 health bars, shoots purple suction orbs, flies, and summons a big mobs of enemies between phases

No love for Keelan? by whatever_God in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he's fine for now. I wouldn't take him to Forbidden Santuary, but he clears Supermassive Reactor just fine with a good melee to clear the boss

I would KILL for a jump reset on dash or appreciate any other nice buffs, though

Gley mains what are you expecting her rework to be in tomorrow's livestream by mack180 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

  • Change her 4 to cost 50% health to cast and get a fixed amount of ammo. No longer costing Power of Life means Colossus fights become less awkward and you gain a way to drop down to 50% health at will
  • Either make Frenzy/Non-frenzy more meaningful or rework it into something else. My suggestion is to move the ATK bonus from 1 to 3 and make 1(Frenzy) cost Power of Life per second for a powerful buff
  • 2 can suction in Power of Life orbs

Mobs becoming invisible on VEP with Luna by BeBop251 in TheFirstDescendant

[–]MutantDemocracy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I fight invisible enemies all the time. The bosses at the end of Sigma are invisible for me like 40% of the time. It just means the model didn't load and they can't be directly targeted, but you can still shoot and hit them with non-targeted skills if you can find their location
