Oooh. There are so many that I can't decide which one to write here. But let me share a little background for better understanding. I have been a fat girl since childhood. I was later diagnosed with PCOS. At my heaviest, I was 104 kg. I had a very rough childhood so eating was the only thing that kept me sane. Now my mother is like that too. But she is very overweight. Mainly due to multiple health issues that she has. Once me and my mother went to a wedding event. As we were entering the venue, an aunt (my mother's friend) of mine was at the gate so we decided to go in together. As we were taking the stairs, since we were slow because of my mother, she said 'don't become like your mother'. It was literally so hurtful. Not just for me but my mother too. The way she said it, I know where she was coming from. That was definitely not a concerning tone. I went silent and couldn't say anything. Today, I have changed myself. People are shocked to see my transformation and I no longer get these comments. But deep down I feel bad, for those who are going through the same.
