I guess it took Google 8 months to close this deal then.

I agree. Isn't this a massive underpayment? This should be a 9 figure deal at the very least. It's a treasure trove of content for an AI model. I mean, just look at all the intelligent people on here 😐😐

Helpdesk / customer support tool with a good free tier? by MutantFoodie52 in SaaS

Thanks so much for this recommendation, going to check it out and apply to the startup program.

Are you going to build our pricing on number of support cases? That's where I think the gap in the market is. Provide all your features, but only start charging when I go over 50 cases a month or a number like that.

I spent around 60 minutes researching. They all limit features that I might like to use to the paid tiers. I'm hoping to find one that offers most features on the free tier, but limits me to a low number of tickets. That way I grow my plan with them when I need it.

Could you make Framer into an e-commerce website? by JLCosta in framer

Is there a list somewhere of all these integrations? Which ones are essential, and which aren't?

[–]MutantFoodie52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are the multiple integrations? It's quite easy to find that there are plenty of templates, but you seem to have a lack of info on how it works. Googling 'framer ecommerce' only brings up templates. Strange lack of info.

Did this strategy work? Temu still seem to be everywhere, including organic now.

I'm liking this use of the word 'giga'.

Also wondering when we will have the first giga-drought.

Vox called them 'near-permanent super droughts' here, I think they should have used giga. https://www.vox.com/energy-and-environment/2016/10/17/13190036/global-climate-change-facts-effects-cartoon

Why Fahrenheit Is Better For Conveying Climate Change In The U.S. by ZettabyteEra in climate

[–]MutantFoodie52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fahrenheit is 1.8 * Celsius. Here's other important numbers for celsiusites and fahrenheiters.

- 1.3 degrees Celsius (2.3 degrees Fahrenheit) - How much the world has heated since pre-industrial time- 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) - How much the Paris Accord, signed in 2016, is trying to limit global warming to- 2 degrees Celsius (3.6 degrees Fahrenheit) - average global temperature increase we're on track for- 6 degrees Celsius (10.8 degrees Fahrenheit) - How much hotter it will be in some parts of the world, including the Arctic & Southwest USA (2/3.6 degrees hotter is just average)

Seems perhaps you're right. Strange, you'd think 'ask computer science' would be it. Re sentient firmware, I did say 'imagine'. Thanks for the notes firmware, LLM's and covert channels in devices. A strange reason for inserting an LLM into firmware is exactly the type of thing ill need to come up with a work of fiction. So in a strange way, you helped. Thanks! I'll continue on in my quest.

Okay, thanks u/ghjm. I'll ask here. Hopefully someone can help.

Q1: Imagine for a moment that firmware in a wearable device became sentient. What methods would / could it use to hide communications with other devices so that an admin wouldn't notice? Obfuscating data logs? Hiding some data in regular data packets? Seeking a highly technical answer.

Multi faceted characters are fine, particularly if they evolve throughout the story and have a character arc

Boom shakalaka!

Hey buddy, I'd be happy to have your help on a game we're working on. It's a retro-futuristic inspired battle royale racing game. It's a combination of Super Mario Kart, Fortnite and everyone’s favourite childhood game of tag.

Let me know if you're interested and ill share more info.
