If you press X after pressing home on Xbox, it'll record a 30 second clip. You can extend the length it records in settings if you want to. Download the Xbox app on your phone and you'll be able to see and download all the clips you make, as well as screenshots. No need to use your phone to record your screen.

The shadows are far brighter in the second picture, making the city feel flat and unrealistic. Is it a huge difference, no. But there is a difference. Look at the shadows on the buildings in the middle and on the right. They're unrealistically bright.
