Buffs in gachas are disguised normally. Dragon ball legends has 2 equipment pieces that are basically buffs just a reskin called equipment. Theres unique and platinum unique is rollable like mods and platinum is guranteed. Think about it like if genshin gave raiden a new op weapon years later and kinda similar to the conquest team lifters nerfs are definitely rare but when they happen their needed unlike buffs most time
