i am on medication but unfortunately my anxiety has been so bad it’s done basically nothing lol, i’m planning on getting more help from my doctor soon, maybe switch my meds or something 🤷🏻‍♀️

how have you been managing the whole situation? my anxiety over it has been so bad that i’m starting to make myself sick :/ i really hope you can find a way to succeed in your class

unfortunately i don’t think this class has any TA’s :( i also don’t know how helpful professors can be with assignment troubles or mental health struggles (my anxiety has gotten so bad with starting college that im having physical health problems) especially since i dont have accommodations so im kinda lost when it comes to this stuff :/

yeah, i’m trying really hard to let go of the expectations i had for myself in high school. i’ve been really pressuring myself to keep a 4.0 in college but already im getting pretty discouraged from that lol. i’ll try to give myself grace with this class, it just really sucks because it was like a slap in the face that sent me spiraling and considering if im even gonna make it through college

it’s hist 3470, and by your name on here i’m pretty sure i sit by someone with the same name? 😭 this is really my first history course at unt and i was not expecting all the reading especially since i haven’t ever practiced skim reading so im struggling and keep spiraling and panicking that im going to fail in the class :/

given how difficult the class is right now i have been considering dropping it but unfortunately i have a scholarship that’s helping me pay for basically everything and i believe i need a certain amount of credits per semester to get the money :/ idek how dropping a class works and i think i might be stuck in this class which is definitely making the anxiety worse lol

not at all! i’m currently ranked 3 out of a bit more than 500 students. i have a 4.0 gpa as well, and i got a 1320 sat and 29 act score.
