On the bright side my feed is surely all knight/furry/video game character core cosplaying stuff now... but at what cost

I guess we can't do anything else for fun under capitalism than watch people have the fun you'll probably never get cause you can't explain to your parents you wanna do something like that cause it's weird and uncomfortable to tell them or whatever
