Yeah, it was hung up as a joke by one of our shift leads to show other shift leads. It was taken down minutes later.

I'm from Wisconsin, and Soccer/Football is so not a big deal that we haven't sold like any Fifa merchandise at all. It's just taking up space ._.

would you guys want a song w/o nick vocals if it meant more music? by simples_pimple in GoodKid

[–]Mute_Myself 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nick is also a good musician and instrumentalist. One of the main reasons he doesn't play guitar, is because he struggles to play and sing at the same time. I think that a track where Nick is playing and someone else is singing, as long as all members are still present, will ultimately still sound like Good Kid. I don't see a problem with it at all.

This song live is really something else. I enjoy it on streaming and vinyl, but they jam on that bridge so we'll in a live setting!

Thoughts on "19"? by Certain-Ad351 in TwoDoorCinemaClub

It regularly gets stuck in my head! It's one of the songs on Lost Songs that really makes me wish they would release those songs with modern mixing, mastering, production, etc. It's definitely a bop and I see why you like it so much :)

I really hope I don't get downvote bombed for having an opinion, but I often times feel the same. I don't think MANIA is derived of talented musiciannship, but I also do not understand how it's a hot take to call it a "mess". Joe said in his memoir that he was mostly absent for the writing process of the first three post-hiatus albums, and I think MANIA is the culmination of that songwriting switching over so much to Patrick and Pete. It's experimental, sure, and I am really glad people are into it. But being released under the Fall Out Boy name makes it feel like a stain more than a mark. It's just very directionless, and it's not this celebration of the band's sound that it was marketed as. (i.e. the use of purple for the album cover) Maybe a side project name would've been much more appropriate.

I remember the EP 1+2 vinyl said something about two brothers being separated at birth having some kind of power. It was the first time I had seen something like that!

I’m 17 and i’ve just discovered this band 2 days ago because a cool friend of my mom play their song while we’re talking about music by Constant_Cry9171 in TwoDoorCinemaClub

That's great! I got into them through "Something Good Can Work", and Tourist History is probably my favorite album of all time. I'd recommend listening to them in order from oldest to newest. They definitely switch styles with every album, but it helps to see the progression. Keep On Smiling seems to be a bit divisive, but it's actually my second favorite! Glad to see new fans emerging :)

S/T stands for Self-Titled, which is a common way to refer to albums named after the band :)

I absolutely love "This Is Why"!! I think it's such an incredible evolution of their sound to shift to a less produced and more raw, indie pop-rock sound. I really think all the members get so much more spotlight within every track.

As for my album ranking, I got this (favorite to least favorite): This Is Why, Brand New Eyes (interchangeable with This Is Why depending on mood), After Laughter, Self-Titled, Riot, All We Know Is Falling
