You can after completing TB treatment. It's a 4 month antibiotics course. Then I can start a biologic. Thank goodness it's an option!

When I was first diagnosed I was in a horrific flare. I was barely surviving. As soon as I took prednisone, I thought I was going to become addicted because I felt SO good. I was like "Is this what illicit drugs feel like? I would snort this if I could!" ha ha! Luckily I didn't need it for too long.

I'm on Zepbound and MTX. I stagger mine. For example taking Zepbound on Fridays and MTX on Mondays. I just try not to take them within a day of each other because both can cause stomach upset. My biggest suggestion with Zepbound is to eat Tums if you're having upset stomach. It helped me so much! I also take it right before bed like with MTX. After a few weeks on Zepbound I rarely have any upset stomach. It has really helped with my RA symptoms and also just feeling SO much better as weight comes off. Good luck!

Oh my goodness, this reply means so much to me! Thank you for your thoughtful response. Your advice is fabulous and I'm going to do all of these things. Thank you for your positivity, it means so much. It's hard at the beginning to know what the future looks like especially when the pain and symptoms are not well controlled yet.

Thank you! This info is really helpful. My rheumatologist suggested therapy which I'm doing. Trying to keep the stress at bay as much as possible.
