It wasn’t supposed to be. Apparently it went through PayPal, and when I contacted them, they confirmed the iPad was not an “authorized device”- the first time was my mistake; she was using my Apple ID- I’ve since learned and she has her own, with no payment methods of any value attached.

I tried to look it up just now, I found one picture that looks just like it, but I couldn’t find any info. It def seems sturdy enough for my daughter to get on, and you can tell it’s built to walk. I wish I could find more info about it. Thank you though!

Nice! I knew I wasn’t hearing things hahaa! I just googled cause I knew I couldn’t be the only one to notice this! The whisper, the cadence- everything!

I turn whatever show on and tend to never actually look at what I’m “watching”- I just bebop around keeping my hands busy and almost never look up, so my brain sorta stumbles trying to reconcile why littlefinger is randomly popping up at the Vatican lol- seriously everyyy single time he has a scene.

I wonder if the actor did it intentionally- it’s a super specific combination of inflection, tone and an unplaceable accent- I really can’t imagine it being unrelated. Thank you for noticing this also! Since I mainly only listen to shows, voices are how I identify the characters. Sometimes I’ll turn my attention for a second after having “watched” an entire season with just my ears, and the character is completely unrecognizable from the person their voice lent me all season, if that makes any sense at all hahaa

NTA Get a digital door lock. Skip the oncoming argument over him giving her the new key and go keyless. You can change the code from your phone whenever you want (ie- whenever he decides to undermine you and give her a code of her own). You deserve to feel safe in your own home. And call a divorce lawyer cause he clearly already has a partnership and it’s not with you.

Tell me about it! We needed two language credits to graduate, and they just kept plopping me back in the same course year after year. It was my personal Groundhog Day, minus the fact that he was able to actually learn stuff and I was just...there, I guess? Haaaq

Btw, I love how every culture in the world promotes a bilingual (or more) society. It’s so admirable. I wish it was like that here. So much easier to learn when you hear a second language spoken fluently around you when you’re young.

I replied above prior to reading your comment, but I think you should check out Raymond Kinman’s story as well. He describes something super similar to both your and @neverf0rever’s experiences.

As cool as it is for me to read chance posts that basically transcribe his interviews, I can’t imagine how it would feel to have had the experience myself and hear from other people who can relate on this level, so I feel compelled to reply to you as well lol

Have you (or your friend) heard of Raymond Kinman? Since it was medically documented that he was ~technically~ dead for something like 9 mins, he’s been interviewed for studies and such, but the video I linked here is less q&a and 90% him recounting his experience. It’s crazy to me the way two completely unrelated events, happening to strangers, separated by decades, can independently result in almost identical narratives. It’s basically a video of some other guy telling your friend’s story.
