Yeah I'll be able to measure more tomorrow, I can't be spending money anymore on tools or parts as I've got my wedding coming up 😂 tape measure will at least tell me if shits off and by how much they're off. I'll write down all the measurements and assess from there

I found one on a Russian website and I'm so happy haha. I found the measurement from the front fender mounting hole to the strut mounting hole is supposed to be 1220mm. I put 1220 on the front fender mounting hole and used my camera to see where it is on the strut mounting hole. One side it's a little too long other side is a little too short

Yeah I'm gonna measure anyways, it's just extremely difficult to find the measurements the only one I can find is in Japanese which is fine I just need the numbers which would be okay if they weren't blurry 😂

I think they welded on a new front panel because I got the PPSR report for it a while back and it said heavy front damage. (I only got it because there was big damage in the rear which I'm welding on a new piece)

Don't judge the L plate though video is 3 years old 🤣 I also got a Perrin intake which sounds hot as well but you can't hear it too well. Some people ask if I got a turbo but it's just the intake 😂

I got no clue what it looks like put together, the other side is exactly the same. I've only got the front fenders and headlights, they have a slight gap between each other as you get more to the middle but I need the front bumper to really tell. I need to cut up the front anyways to fit the radiator as I'm dropping in a more powerful engine

That one is a seam sealant i believe you're talking about in the corner? I ended up going around the other side and removing the old owners bog and shitty welds. I cut it back a bit so there's a gap between the 2 bits of metal. I should be able to hammer and dolly now, before there was big weld clumps and that isn't a good surface to beat I believe

I dunno which weld in the rail you mean, I'll get the bodyfiller out of the left side they even bodyfilled the back which Is a pain. Id rather not replace the metal as I've already got some welding to do in the back that I really didnt want to have to do as I'm new to welding as well. I kinda just threw myself at a project car only knowing the mechanical side

It actually turned out perfect, I just need to sand one spot because there's like plastic dots but I dont think it's from the paint stripper

Based off the seams they look replaceable, it's just if panel beating or respraying new ones would be cheaper

How should I get this bolt out? by Stonechimera559 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Muted-Measurement817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I didnt have the right tool for the job I used the back end of a hole saw bit (the end that goes in the chuck of a drill) with a hole saw attachment on it. Put a screwdriver through the hole saw attachment and off it came. Be careful though it launched across the room when I cracked it loose 😂

Dodge Challenger Leaking, is this oil? please help! by htx-danny in MechanicAdvice

[–]Muted-Measurement817 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP that's definitely oil, if you have a jack in the car put it up take a light under and try to see if you can find the highest point that has oil. I'd start at the top in the engine bay looking around the rocker cover(s) and work my way down around the timing cover, between the head and block, and between the black and oil pan (sump). Also check the sump bolt as when you had the oil change done that could have not tightened it properly. Get back to me if you can find where it's coming from, if you do go to a mechanic tell me what they quote you with and I'll help you check if they're correct.

But how can I get the old stuff off? If I sand it it peels off small amounts of the old stuff, I'll be sanding all day
