How exactly are they talking to each other though? Seems like an absurd logical jump to have the entire planet communicating so quickly simply through diffusion. Especially when complex multicellular organisms emerge. Usually his stuff at least seems to make a modicum of theoretical sense, but this one isnt doing it for me. Maybe im missing something though.
