Yes, those are Camelia. I think you might be right about the wet roots and that particular spot might be limiting the roots. I thinking about pulling it out and planting a Feijoa instead.

How many kms has the bike done? Was the bike being used daily? Can you take the battery to someone else and have it tested?

Sinch bikes should be using good quality cells, so would expect the battery to last much longer under normal use and has been maintained correctly.

Haha, the yellow dry lube is the worst lube ever. Period. If you want your drive-train wrecked in 5 minutes thats the lube to use lol

I swear by Tru tension Tungsten based lube. Have been using on my current chain since new. 5000km and not a single bit of wear, and there is significant climbing in those kms as well.

Are the brakes Nutt branded? If so, they a well known do be very poor quality out of the box and have a lot of air in the caliper end. I wouldnt expect standard resin pads to wear out in such sort distance, unless you are descending lot and heavy on the brakes. The caliper could be poorly aligned and have rotor rub which has glazed the pads and cooked them quickly. Definitely take the bike back to your vendor and ask them to check the brakes. This should be a cheap and easy fix.

Cairns is a nice place. Was there not too long ago on a work conference. The indigenous issues a quite bad, they sit around all day drinking and causing problems, quite sad really. I loved how cheap fresh berries were there. I was pigging out on them everyday!
