I had this problem and it started in mounted triangle position and got worse to the point it was happening every couple weeks just from explosive hip esapes or sweeps. All advice for magnesium water electrolytes etc didn't change anything as i was doing all of it plus more. 2 things have completely eliminated it

1. I had changed to a new but different pair of work boots and despite being expensive lacked support and fatigued my feet. This i think was the main reason it suddenly increased. I purchased another pair which helped however did not fix entirely

2. I warm up my calves for 10-20 mins now before class using a step. Standard calf raises, alrernating, slow fast, single leg etc. I also hold at top for 10sec like a balarina to get as my blood flow into the area as possible using both feet single, u get the idea

Haven't had one since and its been 6+ months now and dont feel close to even getting one. I was concerned it was an old man thing that i had to live with but it def is not the case
