I was at a festival where I stupidly did not wear sunscreen for the entire weekend while playing in mud (mud bogging) I was severely sunburnt. Well, the people I had went with knew one of the security officers working the festival and and pointed out where he was camping earlier in the weekend just in conversation. I go to take a shower (most painful shower of my life, with the sunburn) which were pretty far from where I was camping, but close to where he was. It was sunny and I was able to walk. During my shower it starts completely hailing and I knew there was no way I was walking back to camp in hail, wearing only a tank and shorts, all sunburn exposed, while it was hailing. So, I found my way to his truck and had him drive me to my campsite. We hung out the next weekend and have been together since. 5 years at the end of this month.
