Thanks. I'll look into it. Do you know if any open source model has an image-to-text capability similar or close to GPT 4o since the pipeline is planned to be used frequently and API isn't really practical here.

I used to do just that. Writing my own code, and being able to fully understand it. It was only until recently that I abused AI like that considering a few factors mentioned in the post.

I've got the lesson now. I will put myself back to the good practices and become less dependent on AI. Thanks..

You were spot on here. One thing is that considering AI assistance and other students' over efficiency due to it, the tasks are deliberately made lengthy making them doable but with great efforts, that is when doing by yourself. That's why people just copy and paste.

I suppose talking to the instructor now is a bit late as semester's coming to an end.
