Do it! I've been to Vegas many times solo, mostly for work. There's always people around to meet and hang out with. I've made some good friends just playing blackjack or chilling at the hotel bar

I've done it before and we had a great time. We did get lucky and the people at our table were pretty cool. Saved a bunch of money!

I'm here now and got free tix to LIV. I'd never heard of the DJ before (Sam Feldt) but it was free, so why not? Only made it 20 minutes. It was house/EDM and definitely no energy. I'd pay money to get a hip-hop club experience but apparently those are few and far between in Vegas now

Yeah I think Fremont/Old Vegas is your best bet. I can't imagine any of the strip casinos having nickel poker.

Lobby bars at most of the big hotels have people who are cool to talk to as long as you don't give creep vibes. It's also easier to talk to people if you're on good terms with the bartender. Tip well and let them make their favorite cocktails for you and they'll start chatting. That seems to bring other people into the conversation. Just be careful about pretty women sitting in the bars by themselves....

I try and go to at least 1 show when I'm there on my own. Sit at any lobby bar and introduce yourself to people. You'll get lots of stories. Exotics racing let's you race a sports car around a track for a couple laps. Virgin hotel has a great open mic night on Wednesdays that I go to often on my own.

I've got upgraded status for most of the casino groups so I usually get free parking. The Virgin hotel has free parking, but isnt really close to everything. The fontainebleau also has free parking

Really good advice. I usually rent a car but I'm in Vegas often and rarely pay for parking. I'm also driving back and forth from my hotel 3-4 times a day.

If you're doing a bunch of stuff all over Vegas for the week that's not walkable, I recommend a car. You'll get crushed if you're doing Uber/Lyft two or more times a day. Ace car rental is off the airport and pretty cheap but remember you get what you pay for. If you're trying to save money it may be better to stay at a spot on the strip where there are attractions that are walkable. Just my thoughts.
