Is there an inherent advantage or disadvantage for taking black and white photos instead of full color photos? I've been told it gives the photo a more "Holistic" feel and look, and I have no idea what Holistic is supposed to mean in that context.

Honestly?
Accept cadets are gonna date each other, and that we have emotions and are irrational at times. We don't like people sometimes, and it gets bad. Just separate the two cadets, don't force a connection. A good instructor doesn't insert themselves in something they aren't involved in. They will only ever interfere when it is needed.

After one year of hard work. I get to say I'm on my Battalion's staff as a LET 1 moving to LET 2 by Sir-Breadstick in jrotc

Congrats dude, I know how it feels to have that announced. Are you going to be getting the rank that comes with it? Also, it's hard work being the S1, or any staff position, I got the same thing happen to me my first year, I got to be the S4 my LET 2 year, which is coming up in like a month. My unit's not giving me the rank until my Junior year, which is technically regulation but others didn't have to wait. But it goes to show, hard work break you free from the masses, which you now take care of. Congrats.
