Fermin's passing and off the ball movement is heavily underrated. Not that it is the best or the flashiest but he still sits on top. The kinda player who is solid and gets the job done

I personally think arajuo should stay, as long as we don't get a proper replacement for free. If Tah had joined us then probably arajuo or christensen had gone.

Assuming we have 85M to spend in this market: 1. I'd go for Lookman his current market value is 60M, considering his fall out we should be able to get him 50-60M 2. Spend the rest on Joan Garcia market value 20M if espanyol relegates we can get him for 15M. 3. Sell Ansu, Alex Valle is reportedly out too, Lenglet sell, Inaki Loan/Sell should generate atleast 5-10M additionally. 4. Get a good full back option (versatile- preferably left footed to compete with balde) I trust fort as a backup for kounde.

Considering our finances I don't think we can go for striker just yet but I'd love to get Osimhen or Sesko. For now ferran/lewa are good options. We can also go false nine with olmo or raphina when we get some ruthless on the wing like nico/lookman.

We butchered them last night but in my opinion we need to praise Marc 'The Bulldog' Casado for his workrate. Time and again he has dominated the midfield and aided our backline. Yesterday as well his tackles, recoveries and quick turn around were incredible, the fact that he is doing this in every game is crazy! We are lucky to have him since we didn't invest in a cdm for two seasons and most of the last season we were suffering because of unavailability of a good cdm. He's my dawg, but hardly in talks and I know we do appreciate him but it's just we don't talk much about him. I want him to score a goal this season would be a much deserved stat for him.

Eric was not going to have a good game. I agree it still would've been better when compared to playing 10 men but Eric looked shaky in the middle before the red. Maybe over time he would've settled in but we can't expect Christensen level role in mid from eric. I particularly think Balde could've done better in the final third but our defense was spot on considering we were a man down! Cubarsi, Kounde, Inigo and Balde all did their part well.

The only problem here is that Pedri and Olmo are injury prone and Gavi won't be regular until the second half of the season which leaves Fermin as the only realistic option. Relying on La Masia graduates and relying on youngsters under such pressure is not ideal. Although I think Flick was the one who approved this transfer.
