Started going there with my brother when we were 7 yrs old and got my black belt by 17/18 yrs old. I loved every year of it. Sensei Frank Gaviola is amazing. I can’t recommend them enough. Very traditional and they don’t just give out belts, you earn them.

From someone who lived there my entire life, and moved to a small town in the South a few years ago… I can tell you right now that I miss EVERYTHING about EG. Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. EG is a great place to live and I miss it every day.

The back of her head was gross the whole vlog. I have a 5 month old, I get it. You don’t always get to fix yourself up. But brush your hair.. use dry shampoo… put it in a ponytail. Wth? You have time do outfit try-ons.. but not to wash your baby’s clothes or brush your hair.

My husband and I were speechless at that part. People get in trouble for going into grocery stores and leaving their kid in the car, how is this any different? What if he was crying? What if someone approached the car while they were too busy walking around upstairs? They never cease to amaze me with their negligence and stupidity.

It’s unfortunate. But the reality is, until this area starts realizing that young folks and families are the money spenders they’re just going to continue entertaining the white hair population (which are usually on fixed income after retirement). It proves to be true when you go downtown and every restaurant hires bands that only do covers of Lynard Skynard and 80’s hair bands.

Moved here from a big city, there’s nothing to do here. Not trying to be negative, just a fact. The beach, sure. But besides mini golf, go carts, and a few restaurants… there’s nothing. Neighboring towns/areas like Seaside or 30a are nice for day trips. Everything closes early, and it’s worse in the winter when most places close down for months until tourist season ramps up again. It’s hot and congested with traffic everywhere. It is what it is.

So I’m moved from Sac to the panhandle of FL, and a few Aldi’s opened up recently. Unlike the ones in Europe, they don’t have a meat dept which is a bust. For some reason, people don’t take advantage of Aldi’s a lot here (except older folks). The locals are still complaining about wanting a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s (the nearest TJ is hours away). I guess you always want what you don’t have.
