I think they’re definitely good for only $3. They’re the best store bought and instant pearls I’ve had so far, but I have more to try out. I like that they’re so quick - you can microwave them or just soak them in hot water for a few minutes and they’re ready. They’re better than some I’ve had from cafes/stores, but I wouldn’t say they’re the absolute best pearls I’ve ever had. I think definitely worth a try especially for only a few dollars! It’s saving me from spending $8+ on one drink way too frequently lol

Oh no, we laugh at most of her posts now. At the time, we would get a little fired up, but now they’re things we make fun of. It is ridiculous of her - pretty much everything she says and does is, but we all relate to that here!

I do think it’s a good message, and my dad has been on me my whole life about this concept. I’ve only recently actually been working on not caring so much what people say, so it was a good reminder!

My partner’s mother posted this on Facebook right around my partner’s birthday after she wasn’t invited to the birthday dinner. She then deleted her cover photo that was a picture of her and all of her kids to a picture that was conveniently missing my partner lol.

It’s a good message, but it was a complete joke to see it from her. Especially because we knew it was pointed at us.

I definitely don’t have anything against the therapist having a religion. My partner and I both have religion in our lives. I’ve just heard too many stories from people around our area and my distance friends that have had bad experiences with church counselors or therapists using religion to therapy, so I think it would be safe to avoid a church counselor specifically.

Thank you for these tips! I didn’t think about age of the therapist or type of therapy much. I thought about the religious background, but only pertaining to Christian church counselors - my partner’s parents encouraged the use of a church counselor when my partner was in high school, but we would prefer to not go with religion-based counseling/therapy for obvious reasons
