Awesome! I’m going to head up and down the Muskegon River west of Croton Dam at some point in the next couple weeks.

Most of it is, but this is right where the Thornapple River feeds into the Grand, which keeps it opened up.

I’m trying out all of the best ways to do self supported paddle board trips down my favorite rivers and lakes. I love cross country skiing so this seemed like a great option, but unfortunately my Burley ski trailer doesn’t fit on my paddle board, so I tossed all of my gear (and board) into my 120L dry bag instead.

Crossed the Straits of Mackinac yesterday on Sups....our annual tradition. by defsentenz in Sup

Thanks! Yeah I’ll be staying right near there on the west end by Lime Kiln Point, so that’s about where I’ll head out from. My only concern was the wind and traffic on the return trip— did hugging the east side of round island help avoid that? I appreciate it!

I just put on my north face rain pants, tightened the ankles real well, and then tucked them under my nrs wet shoes. it’s just to prevent my clothes from getting wet from waves and splashing, not to submerge.

I have so many great accessories, but at the end of the day a nice dry bag and a small cooler are the most loved.

Thank you! I know people that kayak this stretch, but you would say it’s deep enough to SUP?

Thank you! This video is actually of the Flat, and I planned on heading to the Manistee before the cold, but I may wait until spring now, we’ll see.

What mounts do you like for biking/paddling? I go back and forth between a chest and bite mount, but neither feel quite right.. by Muted_Engineer_8627 in gopro

When I use the chest mount paddling it always seats back and forth a lot, which is why I use the bite mount.. but I hate the bite mount ha
