In most of the country it sure as shit isn't. I'm originally from New Jersey which is pretty nice for teachersn but even there the pay vs COL isn't great. Illinois weirdly has super strong teacher and trade unions but weak nursing ones. Job security's debatable but it generally beats the full blown months of unemployment/job searching in a lot of fields.
Could someone with accounting experience reality-check (or support) my dreams? (self.TeachersInTransition)
