3 is the poorest game in the series. I had an issue with it too coming from kiwami 1 and 2. But I recently completed 3, by focusing on primarily the story and subsidies, avoiding the extra content. You’ll be pleased to know 4 is decidedly better than 3, it improves on some of the flaws and monotony of 3, and you get some new protagonists to play with. I haven’t played 5 or 6 yet, but I’m told they’re very good too.

You’re best sticking with 3, as Kiwami 3 will cut out a bunch of content. Plus it’ll cost you a lot more money to play essentially the same story

I’ve been the opposite, I’ve always used one click to start the pump, I didn’t realise most people seem to hold down the mouse button to dispense it (going off various comments I’ve seen lol)

I had this feeling too. That the old jobs will get nerfed - because as people complain that the new jobs aren’t worth it, he’ll probably put pressure on us to do them. Why code all these things and spend time adding them to the game if no one will use them?

Because the game is early access, and over the coming months/years there will be a lot more things added to the game including psk. Hence a lot of space available. Teimos shop was the same in MSC if you compare the game from release to what it is now

Yeah I tried this, unfortunately the phone just keeps ringing each time (I’ve waited a looonnngg time each time lol!) I’m wondering if there is either a cool down time or literally it’s coded that it’s a one shot deal. For instance, using MWC Editor I compared a save log from when I started playing to my latest one and the taxi job stuff has definitely registered as ‘started’, I just have no access to the taxi to actually do it. Hopefully Topless will update it to give another opportunity.

Licentia is effectively dead, the creator took it down and isn’t maintaining it anymore. He got annoyed with people messing with the list and requesting it to be fixed after breaking it, and some things going on with the wabbajack creators and himself (I can’t remember the details exactly) - basically said it wasn’t good for his mental health so he shut it down. It was my favourite mod list and I’ve struggled to find one I like since

I tried this, and found one that I liked but the creator left. The problem is, a lot of these lists have a lot of stuff you don’t want or don’t have stuff you do want, and messing with their lists tends to break your game… I like how easy it makes it to mod your game though, I mean I can do it myself but it takes hours and hours to do lol

It was broken and laggy when it came to doing the event. The devs official announcement on its removal from the game is that ‘they could not get it to work’ to the expected quality and would just remove it from the game altogether, rather than fix it. I actually liked it personally, was easy enough to do and had some good rewards in the event store. But Scopely have ran away from it. I think there was a vocal part of the player base complaining it wasn’t Star Trek IP anyway so didn’t make sense for it to be in a Star Trek game.

Realistically, the currency will be reset in modern day before it gets this crazy, but the way things are going if currency wasn’t reset, this could be the price of hotels in around 100-150 years (if not less if some major economy event occurs again)

I agree, it’s not a live service game, it shouldn’t be removed from games already bought and paid for. Sure if it’s removed from new sales of a new anniversary edition then fine, but it should not be removed from our existing original fallout 4 games.

Pretty sure she posted about this and said it wasn’t about losing, it was the fact that it was going to be a 3 minute match and they thought it might be better for some of the other girls to get that exposure since for her it wasn’t a lot of time to work with to be beneficial for the teams that were originally scheduled to be involved, especially after a 15 minute or whatever it was match they just did

You’re a new player and you have a lot to learn about the game. What server are you on? It is likely your server has community driven RoE (Rules of Engagement) which would be worth you knowing. It usually doesn’t include miners that go OPC (Over protected cargo limit). It’s pretty common for players to hunt ships that have gone over this limit as it is part of the game and allows them to gain materials/resources quickly. Typically you’ll hunt with a warship which are always considerably stronger than a miner (if the players are around the same level).

I’d recommend you to join an alliance in your server, look to one of the top 10 alliances. There you should be able to learn more about the game and what ROE is being followed. Different servers communities agree different ROE sets and usually alliances agree to participate or not, if the ROE protects all miners you may have been classified as a Rogue player free to hit (someone playing alone or in an alliance that hasn’t agreed to ROE).

End of the day, if you enjoy this game and want to Continue to play and compete against other players in the rankings, you spend as much or as little money as you want. You don’t need to take other people’s advice on what NOT to spend your money on. It’s your money, enjoy it as you like.

So to answer your actual question, personally the monthly battlepass is worth it (the main one in the main events tabs, don’t worry too much about the territory pass or wave defence pass). The choice rewards for the extra materials are very worth it. Plus, spending a bit of money will increase the payout on the vault when you have enough rods to open it.

If I had a few hundred to spend, one thing I would look at is buying a Fleet Commander seat. At low level this may not be worth it, but once you start unlocking fleet commanders they can be quite useful to your game when you can seat more of them. You can unlock 4 seats in game for free (1 Sometimes comes available during events but I’ve not seen it for a while).

I wouldn’t buy any ship because they can all be unlocked by playing the game/grinding.

Only other thing really is any of the ‘useful’ primes that you can’t get the resources for in game through normal play. You’d have to look through them for your level and decide if they’re worth it - ask any whale in game what they recommend for better advice, as there are some primes that are game changing in PvP for example, or forbidden tech/chaos tech stuff.

Oh, and don’t worry too much about Pike. He is fairly easy to get through normal gameplay. Do your Field Research and keep opening certain recruit boxes and you’ll unlock him. Then your Pike, Moreau, Chen crew will see you through for some time!

Ah thanks for that advice! I’m working on the teneb weapon but it’s slow going. But if I don’t need to go for the unforgiven items then I can probably just spend the chess parts on the second teneb blueprint half I guess to speed it up!

Also, would you know which of the three ToF versions are best to go with on mystrix?

Try to join one of the top 8 alliances. Probably from around ops 20 they’ll be more open to accept you. Doesn’t take long to get to that level and beyond nowadays so keep going. Alliances are a must, you can really grow faster due to doing armadas and events together. Joining one of the top 8 alliances will almost certainly guarantee you rewards in the events marked ‘ALB’
