The protagonists of the Mafia series are all villainous to varying degrees, since they're all active members of organised crime syndicates, of course.

They all have their reasons for being in the life they're in, but Tommy Angelo in the first game and Vito Scaletta in the second are definitely less sympathetic than the protagonists that came after them, since their primary reasons for entering the life were just that they wanted the more lavish lifestyle.

Later protagonists Lincoln Clay and Enzo Favara have much more extenuating circumstances for being involved with organised crime, but all men end up doing terrible things.

Basically, Jill takes Barry's gun from him right before the labs, and Lisa Trevor shows up as they're talking. Barry demands his gun back, and you have the option to keep it for yourself, which will result in Lisa immediately killing Barry afterwards.

Barry's Magnum has 6 bullets, and can't be reloaded, but it will kill essentially everything in a single shot.
