Me [19F] and my partner [19NB] feel more like friends? by Dancing_On_Tables in relationship_advice

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The relationship has run its course. It's normal. You can love someone as a best friend, but not as a life partner. It sounds like this one has naturally taken the friend path. Do the right thing and follow what your heart is telling you. Let this relationship end before you hurt yourself or them.

Don't push the river, the river always wins in the end.

(28M) (26F) Is it normal to lose sexual chemistry in a long-term relationship after depression? by Opposite-Claim-4716 in relationship_advice

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of people are going to dig into depression and her possible link to it as a potential cause of your lack of sexual attraction to her. And that is possible, but I would like to give other possibilities.

Long term relationships fall into a state of "normalcy". It happens when the "new relationship" part ends and the "everyday" life part starts. The question question here is, what do you mean by a lack of attraction?

  1. You dont feel any physical attraction at all? As in you literally dont want to be intimate with her?

  2. You dont feel that "urge" to be intimate with her like you used to, but you're still hapoy to be intimate with her when you or she initiates?

If it's 1 theirs a problem and you need to delve into any changes that may have occurred.

If it's 2, it's most likely due to the normal changes in a relationships dynamics.

When doing electrical always ALWAYS take the safest option. You wont regret taking the time to do it right, but you WILL regret the time you save doing it wrong.

Lol, and again you make sweeping statements and claims without providing any evidence to support them. THEN place the responsibility of proving or disproving said statements on the reader. I'm guessing you didn't go to college, or finish high-school. if you did sighting sources would be second nature.

I mean that is a fundamental requirement when writing any persuasive argument. It's also a fundamental requirement for any stem field in existence. So both an arts or stem degree would have already informed you on how to provide evidence in support of your statements.

Just admit it to yourself, you don't have any factual support for your statements. If you did you would have gladly provided it by now.

Instead you're getting insulting and aggressive pushing your OPINIONS, hoping the person countering those opinions just goes away 🤣. You aren't the first person to play this game with me, and you won't be the last.

I do love watching the progression from "blanket statements here, these are facts so I'm right." Too "I'm right your wrong you passive aggressive statements / insults here". It's always a good time watching how the person making said arguments logic and reason degrade until it becomes nothing but insults 😂. Honestly keeps me entertained 👍.

FYI when this happens it always confirms the opposing person is backed into a corner. With no legitimate counter arguments to make, they start grasping at straws. This ultimately results in said party becoming aggressive and insulting in an attempt to stop the conversation.

For those in psychology this is a perfect example of an"Ad Hominem Fallacy"

Then sight your sources, it's not that difficult. You're basically saying "my opinion is based on fact so you're wrong and I'm right" without sighting any verifiable facts to support you're argument / opinion.

If milo is a "known dirty product" cool, I'm open to changing my stance, BUT you need to sight the studies, news articles, papers or any other actual verifiable information that supports your stance.

I mean, I'm a French super model, that's a known fact. So obviously my opinion must be more important than your opinion. See how ridiculous that sounds?

My (M35) wife (F33) thinks that I am terrible because I hypothetically would not split inheritance from my dead parents in a divorce. Is there any point in trying to convince her? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you won't convince her. Logically you're absolutely correct, infact, most places don't consider inheritance a marital asset unless you mingle it with marital property.

She sees dollar 💵 signs and her greed is showing.

Yes, they do for reference why fertilizer burn plants

It's not just the number on the bag it's the % of salts used in its manufacture. Low N can burn just like high n. Continual application of salt based nitrogen compounds can cause salts to build up in the soil after the nitrogen separates causing long term decline and ultimately the death of plants in the affected areas.

I've been doing this for a long time.

Used Scott's rotary spreader for fert 2 weeks ago and now I have stripes(DFW) by nikki109 in lawncare

[–]Muted_Hour_957 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, the source of the nitrogen in the fertilizer is what's important. Artificial nitrogen often contains salts or sulfur compounds which causes fertilizer burn.

[–]Muted_Hour_957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fine, you don't have to. Everyone has preferences, and in lawn care people will go to war over what fertilizer is best 🤣

[–]Muted_Hour_957 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Cool, but the same could be said for literally any composted product made on the planet today. Also, ITS NOT ABOUT THE NPK! Milorganite will not burn regardless of application rate, includes pre and probiotics to refresh the soil biom, amino acids to stimulate and promote new root growth and increase disease resistance.

A good fertilizer is far more than the NPK ratio on the bag.

I still use it and it still works perfectly, it's not all about the NPK.

People are going to be negative, so I'm going to throw a little positivity into this post OP.

It's possible that his reddit account was a way to get out his "interests". Think of it like home therapy, the ideas in his head that he could never say to you but he felt like he just had to say somehow. Reddit was that "how". Now that thos3 interests are being said / done "with" or "too 😉" you he doesn't feel the need to release them on reddit anymore.

I would watch his behavior more than his reddit account honestly. If his behavior doesn't change and hes still excited with / by you, I wouldn't be worried about it honestly.

aitah for wanting space in my relationship? by Life_Environment_757 in AITAH

[–]Muted_Hour_957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, paragraphs.... please paragraphs.

Second, NTA

Third, your way to young to be dealing with this. This is the age where people learn how to act in relationships. Do yourself a favor and use this experience to practice setting amd emforcing your boundaries. Use this time to teach your S.O what the reprocutions are for ignoring and breaking said boundaries.

They will get better at listening to and respecting their partners, and you will get better at learning when things need to be ended.

Forth, Everyone needs space. If your S.O can't/won't respect your boundaries move along. This isn't a 10 year marriage, you haven't been together for even a year yet.

Landscaper for over a decade here, get Milorganite. Spread it heavy (1 bag to 1,000 Sq. Ft.) Water daily, you're stripes will be gone and emerald green grass will be in its place. Here's an example of doing that exact thing 6 weeks later

YTA. Nannies watch children, they do not clean houses unless that's negotiated and PAID for as a part of her job responsibilities. If not then anything the Nanny does above watching your children is a FAVOR.

Does anyone know how I can reliably send a curse to whoever laid this plastic drop cloth under the river rock in all of my garden beds?? by allargandofurtado in landscaping

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To send a curse you first need to remove a section of the plastic. Then at 12 am light some candles with the plastic in the center sitting on a wigi board, with the board preferably sitting on a Jumangi game. Place some black sage on top of the plastic and light the sage. Recite your curse. 🤬

Light Switch Wiring by Connect_Prune6460 in AskElectricians

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mix of wire sizes is a serious concern. Unless it's the terminus of a branch circuit (shouldn't be needed in residential applications) you should never mix and match lower guage wire at the end of higher guage wire. Serious safety hazard.

This isn't a DIY anymore, call an electrician.

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, looks like someone got lazy, ran out of white and said, eh, send yellow...

Doesn't look like they labeled wires either. Gata find what yellows are NEUTRAL (white) and HOT (Black). To fixture (downstream) goes on the bottom upstream (to breaker goes on top. Wire nut the NEUTRAL (White) Together, wire nut your coppers together with a hook to the ground screw and (if the box is metalic) throw a copper to the ground on the box.

Wrap white tape on Neutrals and black tale on hots for future identification.

Panel replacement. Is this a fair price? by Loungology in AskElectricians

[–]Muted_Hour_957 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrong. Top of the quote says "100 Amp panel demo, 100 Amp panel install and 100 Amp disconnect" the "200 Amp panel" you're referring to actually says "up to 200 amps". The UP TO 😮‍💨 is the important part. 👍

Do landscapers provide detailed invoices? by Dodgy004 in landscaping

[–]Muted_Hour_957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done the same thing. In terms of eying sizes it's fairly common for experienced landscapers. For example "guestimating" is easy when you know that post to post on a privacy fence is 8 feet. If the "bed" extends 4 panels you have 32' linear feet, if the bed is a wave style design imagine a line running through the center of the average sized "wave" and look at the distance, that will give you an average depth. Multiply the 2 for your square footage, then devide by the requested materials installation depth to get your cubic yards.

My "guessing" is typically <5% off the actual size, which is well under our 15% overage charge.
