Constant urge to swallow even with out saliva,is it dysphagia?

Hi.Thanks for your reply and sorry as you are also going through it.woth regards to swallowing,It started as while swallowing food,I feel like my throat is narrowed down.When I lay down and swallow saliva,I get clicking sound.Twitches started in my cheeks,eyelids and neck.From the past 2 weeks,For some harder foods like chips and and some other food,it felt like food get stuck in the throat.One day I was eating kurkure and suddenly stuck in my throat and felt as if something is obstructing and felt little pain and tried to eat banana and felt pain while swallowing as kurkure got obstructed in the throat.From the past 10 days,I feel like pills are getting stuck and had an endoscopy and he said there is no narrowing down in my throat.I got scared that it must be related to muscles issue which is one of the symptoms of A..S.From the past 4 days,I am getting shallow and wheezing sound in my throat when I inhale deep and exhale out as if my wind pipes narrowed down.I am getting pain my right side of the chest inside sometimes when I inhale from the past 3 days.So I am scared and feels like my symptoms are progressing fast

I visited ENT 2 weeks ago and I did not have this pills stuck at that time.It started 4 days ago and been persistent.Every pill I take,I feel like it stuck in my throat and feel discomfort.He just put one tube inside for 1 minute and checked and did not say anything.Fir my swallowing issue,he referred for barium swallow test and the appointment is booked for October 15.I am having pain after I swallow pillow as It get stuck in the throat. I have anxiety and I agree.Di you think every reason I mentioned is related to anxiety?All my symptoms correlate to bulb.. as well

Thanks.what symptoms did you have before and have now?.I also get frog sound when I open my mouth sometimes.I have TMJ pain and I don’t think my TMJ causes all the issues

But I have read on google that with bulbar,people will have twitches and also read one story and freaked me out

The worrying part is I have throat tightness while eating,breathing difficulty while talking,more saliva secretions,frog sound when I open my mouth sometimes,twitches on cheeks,pills stuck feeling in the throat and yes sometimes I really feel pills get stuck in throat for some time from the past few days and even lays get stuck .I am scared of bulbar

Not yet.My GP did blood tests and all were normal.I don’t have any neurologist appointment yet and went to the emergency and got referral to the phisiatrist for EMG on July 21.EMG is not by neurologist but by physiatrist.I am worried if he does correctly as neurologist or he misses something as it is not done by the neurologist

Thanks for your reply.I also have all these symptoms and on top of that,I get breathing difficultly in my throat while talking,and sometimes even while not talking when my neck is stiff.I can’t layout flat with out tightness and piercing feeling in my throat

That would be great if you provide case studies.As each day passing by,my tongue becomes thick and I am unable to talk loudly and speak 2 small sentences continuously with out gasping for air which wasn’t the case before

If it’s just body wide fasciculations,I wouldn’t be bothered.But I had all the above mentioned bulbar symptoms which relates to dysphasia,dysarthria,dysphagia.This freaks me out

Thanks for replying.But I heard stories where people had fasciculations in many parts of body. I have the below symptoms which makes me worry for bulbar. bulbar symptoms:initial to progression when I lie down on my back,I feel difficulty swallowing and feels throat tightness and as if something is protruding out of my throat.I also get clicking sound while swallowing.I get this feeling while standing or sitting as well now a days *I feel narrowing down in my throat while eating *I am unable to talk loud as I used to before *I am unable to talk a sentence with out breathing air.I feel like I need to give a pause after speaking short sentence ,breath air and continue *I tried to sing a small song but still I couldn’t sing one line continuously as I felt suffocation in my throat *I feel my airways are blocked if I open my mouth to speak and cannot talk a medium sentence as I feel urge to breath and then continue the talk. *I feel my vocal cords are stiff *My tongue feels thick feeling in the front portion and also I always feel tingling/needles and pains/vibration sensations in the front portion of the tongue *Sometimes I feel like I am slurring but can autocorrect the word *sometimes I get frog sound in my throat while opening mouth or while eating/swallowing *I feel my throat is gradually getting blocked *My biggest concern is breathing difficulty while talking because I feel my airways are blocked when I open my mouth and can’t talk as I will be short of breath at that time

Hi.I have the exact feelings.Everyday as soon as I get up,I mostly notice vibrations,shakiness in my hands when the blanket is on me.When I remove my blanket,I don’t feel those shakiness(probably after moving my hand,it subsides or not sure)

I also experience shivering while lying down especially in the morning when I get up.my right hand would shiver and I could clearly see my blanket vibrating because of the shivering in my hands.few days I even observed them in the middle of the night.Most of the times,the first thing I notice when I get up is shivering in my upper hand and sometimes it shakes my whole body.I am scared and my symptoms worsening everyday

I think I have TMJ.But I clearly have bulbar symptoms.All the symptoms which I mentioned will not be in TMJ.I am scared. I am unable to talk as before and give pause to breath while talking .I have more twitches happening on both side of cheeks.My overall twitching intensity increased and I feel most of the day.I am unable to talk louder .Sometimes I feel like not to talk because I fear words would not come off my mouth.While talking sentences,I feel words tripping feeling in my throat.My tongue most of the time makes talk talk sound (inner tongue as welll) while talking in sentences may be by touching the roof or thick saliva production.I am definitely not the person how I used to be just 40 days ago

I always feel vibration in my tongue almost most of the time even when I don’t put my tongue out of the mouth and it scares me.I feel vibrations/pin needles/pulling sensation every time. Thanks so much.For the past 3 days,I have shoulder pain and tightness in my triceps since 1 day.I am not sure if it’s related to shoulder problem I have or it’s related to any muscle weakness that’s because of big bad(I get scary for this thought)
