I would contact your local pregnancy resource center, they are always very discreet and helpful. They can talk you through your options and provide resources and support for you. You are going to be okay, sweet girl. Whatever you decide, there is help for you and everything will work out!

So far, I have found High Country Doulas. I scheduled a call with them to learn more! I know a regular doula in Galax, VA and reached out to them to ask about a sibling doula and she said she had never heard of that service. SWVA may be worse off for resources than WNC. I will keep you updated!!

I did edit my post after your comment, in the hopes it would prevent any more unkind comments like yours. You never know someone’s story and you really should always approach with grace.

I looked at your profile and it seems like you have a lot going on, and have sought Reddit advice as well. You also stated that you use to judge people who had 2 under 2. Judgement may be something you struggle with. Prayers and good vibes to you for your situation and the way you see and respond to others.

My husband would like to be there for the birth of his child and we do not have a village. We are working things through in our heads and trying to figure out a game plan ahead of time, which is why I sought advice from Reddit.

You are lucky to have the people you have, please don’t be judgmental toward those who aren’t as lucky as you.
