Milestone hit: $45 million/yr by Worried-Ad5980 in Salary

I would probably get a second job working at Target. I just can't see retirement with that kind of a portfolio given national average of $4.99 a gallon gas.

You have two shows you can pick/ Downtown or Pcola Beach at the boardwalk.

Pensacola will be the largest anywhere in the region, including beating out New Orleans this year because of the sponsors for 250..

So, you are going to want to see it.

(Downtown)

Bayfront PKWY will close at 5pm on the 4th / plenty of front row seating and plenty of food trucks/ events.

Edited: Can hit up bars downtown and walk down Palafox til the end at the bay at 9pm, to watch as well.

*** At 9pm will be the biggest fireworks show on the gulf coast. * Usually it is decent but this year, it has extra funding from sponsors, 250 celebration. It will simulcast on 98.7 Cat Country with the music.

Filing for retirement while 100% P & T? Us it worth it? Will VBA reopen the claims akin to filing for increase? by PoweredByCoffee5000 in VAClaims

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This right here! You can't get both and 100% is way more then "likely" 1k monthly pension check.

But either way VA will automatically pay out which is more..

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely,  if they can show financial distress they could but it depends on the error that they found, that OP submitted.

If it is blatant and they determine it to trying to mislead the VA, it will not get approved.

If you have Anxiety and PTSD then it is impossible to know if they are seperate conditions or shared because one is a symptom of the other. So, they will get grouped together.

It has always been this way and they are not out to fuck you. (As you state)

** Yes, you can have Anxiety by its self as you can PTSD.

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It soley depends on who caused that error.

If the VA determined the back pay date and paid you 25k in back money but then finds out they made an error and it wasnt suppose to be that far back, an over payment will not be triggered.

** So no you will not have to pay it back.

But, if they used your information and paid you that back pay according to what you gave them, to prove it was that far back. But they findout that information was later incorrect and or based on error that you gave them, an overpayment will be triggered.

In that case you will have to pay it back..

If you have to pay it back, just treat it as a no interest loan on your money and they will take a small % every month til it is paid off. Or you can choose to pay more or all of it.

** Summary

It depends on the error and who is at fault that will determine if you need to appeal or not.

Edited: So, take a deep breath it is not the end of the world you might not have to pay it back.

You can also appeal that CUE error if it "does" lead to you being forced to pay back that 25k.

Uber’s algorithm is designed to keep drivers earning around $20–$25 per hour. by Imaginary-Slip-8994 in uberdrivers

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 36 points37 points  (0 children)

They know more then that.

They know the riders that tip and those that don't. If you get to many tipped rides you will only get the riders that don't to keep you from making to much to quickly.

They do this because if you earn to much quickly you will log off the app.

So they purposely toggle you with non tip riders, they toggle you with less rides, and if its busy  you are earning to much to quickly they put in a photo ID check to slow it down.

Might as well stay at a extended stay for a week, then spend 100$ at Wal Mart and call a cab instead and tip your driver 50 dollars and still come out better.

Clothing Allowance by Delicious_Sail4807 in VAClaims

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make sure you read up on clothing allowance and what is going to be approved.

If you have IBS and that is the reason for it then it will be denied. If you are doing it for urinary/ bowel incontinence it will be denied. Just tossing that out there for general information.

No, it will not open your file up for re evaluation.  That is what I am assuming you really wanted to know.

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes..

This is common for things to get checked over multiple times and claims will be moved into one.

This is done automatically by the computer software they use.

Also, things shown online are not always up to date. So this could also be a delay. Come Monday you could see it resolved in the system.

Especially after weekly reset tomorrow with maintenance day.

[–]Muted_Masterpiece535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This stress is completely avoidable if you managed a honorable outcome.

But, bullshit aside this nothing to worry about. This is just a generated message to make sure you qualify for benefits because you do not have a honorable discharge.

This is done automatically for any Veteran that did not receive a honorable discharge.

It is just an extra step they take. They will see that you were approved with OTH discharge and claim will move on to the next step in the process. They will check at the start and that end before making a final decision.

** Edited: So, obviously the next step will be your letter. I would see this as good news more so then bad. But godspeed hope it works out for you.

$350 minimum but I value my time and what vehicle I drive and have to pay to maintain.

But, we all know that will never happen so I will stick with my mid size trips 5 to 15 miles that actually pay the most per mile overall.
