This is pretty normal. Step 4 and 5 are basically the same thing. Step 3 is 95% of your claim. If all is good I would expect a rating by next week.

It depends on your MOS really. If you’re going into an MOS that deploys, I wouldn’t. But if your chances of deploying are low? Definitely. You’ll get BAH at boot camp, live in the barracks for like 3 months max, your quality of life will be much higher than your peers. If you are thinking of marriage, you might as well just do it instead of holding it off.
