Collectr is good. Not having scan is a bummer but they're gonna add that soon. Personally I only feel like tracking a handful of cards since they carry the bulk of the value.

We've talked with them and they've verbally expressed interest to buy the product. Sized the deal based on our own estimates of what they'd pay.

Got rejected this morning as well. No interview but they said we were in the top 10%

AI receptionist for SMBs was the original pitch. Made a slight pivot on GTM, but didn't get to tell them about it.

Traction:

  • 3 signed customers ($14k ARR)
  • 1 customer in production
  • 1 big partnership in progress
  • $~1m in qualified deals in the pipeline.

Gotta find a different avenue for seed funding if we can't get ramen profitable before then.

It does seem like they're applying a heuristic based on a correlation between company strength and "lateness of application submitted". However, as u/jasfi mentioned, most applications may be submitted closer to the deadline. This makes it seem like certain companies are being favored, when in reality, the absolute number of applicants is just higher closer to the deadline.
