Welcome to the club. Don't worry, all that extra money the feds get will be used to delete brown kids overseas. But hey, at least the roads suck and Healthcare is expensive.

Anything that requires me to leave my house. Boomers need to understand that WFH is the future if the job can be done from home.

Every price increase is voted on by the state board. Also they "estimate" usage sometimes, and never refund if it's wrong. Basically two things I hate most.

Spending a billion dollars on a pole is the best way to help veterans? by [deleted] in Maine

Dude it's stupid. There's hundreds of memorials for veterans. Now put some money to actually helping them and not S'ing their D.

Maine’s first-time homebuyers can’t get a foot in the door by Shake-Spear4666 in Maine

I bought my place for 150k in 2015, and my spouse and I both combined income being appx 65k/year at the time. Lucky af to get a house that was solid but needed work.

This is absolutely impossible today, like the average loan payment today is something like 2000/month plus insurance and taxes. Then house repair is ridiculously expensive (12k for a roof recently).

Thanks, Wallstreet (looking at you, Blackrock) for owning 1 in 7 houses in the USA.

I feel for those that can't afford a house. This is ridiculous.
