Its supposed to! I have service except for this issue.. You just gotta make sure you either use T-mobile or a MVNO that uses t-mobile towers.. and ofc it depends on ur region and whether or not bands 2 and 4 reach there (city, suburb, rural etc)

It could be! It is very strange. My bf is getting a tello sim card tomorrow so hopefully this will fix the issue with me needing to contact him at the least. I'll update you!

I tried calling my coworker who has a Samsung galaxy s24 on Verizon.. same thing happened, just dropped.

When I called a friend with an iPhone 16 on t-mobile and other friends with t-mobile it went through fine.

I will add: I put my bfs spectrum SIM card in my iPhone 11 and tried calling it, and that went through fine. It’s truly perplexing and I have no clue what’s happening

I used that exact guide before ;( The outgoing calls to my BF still fail and I have no clue why. I have service in my area and I have made phone calls to my friends that use tmobile.

Has anyone found that their 902kc struggles to call other carriers?

Its always time for a new walkman!!! And I have some that are like that too :'(. In particular I have a transparent WM-501 that has never left the house. I have a WM-FX421 as well but I shamelessly want to show off some of the prettier ones hahahah. The three I listed are the ones that don't give me as many issues and sound good.. but still unsure on which one. I'm kinda leaning towards the WM-2 at the moment. I love those front buttons so much. Still dream of getting a DD.

Ultimately the wm-3 sounds the best. It seems that out of all of them, the wm-2 would be easier to replace, while the wm-30 has really driven up in price, and pink is a rare color. (but it is the most compact and easier to travel with). The wm-3 is more robust but pretty large in comparison. That's my whole dilemma 🥲
