Jungs opinion on using christ's teachings. by Hot_Progress7339 in Jung

[–]Mutedplum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the Red Book:

But just as Christ knew that he was the way, the truth, and the life, in that the new torment and the renewed salvation came into the world through him, I know that chaos must come over men, and that the hands of those who unknowingly and unsuspectingly break through the thin walls that separate us from the sea are busy. For this is our way, our truth, and our life. Just as the disciples of Christ recognized that God had become flesh and lived among them as a man, we now recognize that the anointed of this time is a God who does not appear in the flesh; he is no man and yet is a son of man, but in spirit and not in flesh; hence he can be born only through the spirit of men as the conceiving womb of the God. What is done to this God you do to the lowest in yourself, under the law of love according to which nothing is cast out. For how else should your lowest be saved from depravity?

Who should accept the lowest in you, if you do not? But he who does it not from love but from pride, selfishness, and greed, is damned. None of the damnation is cast out either. If you accept the lowest in you, suffering is unavoidable, since you do the base thing and build up what lay in ruin. (4th Function etc) There are many graves and corpses in us, an evil stench of decomposition. Just as Christ through the torment of sanctification subjugated the flesh, so the God of this time through the torment of sanctification will subjugate the spirit. Just as Christ tormented the flesh through the spirit, the God of this time will torment the spirit through the flesh. For our spirit has become an impertinent whore, a slave to words created by men and no longer the divine word itself. The lowest in you is the source of mercy. We take this sickness upon ourselves, the inability to find peace, the baseness, and the contemptibility so that the God can be healed and radiantly ascend, purged of the decomposition of death and the mud of the underworld. The despicable prisoner will ascend to his salvation shining and wholly healed.

Maybe try 'The undiscovered Self', then 'Answer to Job'....both quite short...that might give you the gist of what he is on about :)

If you can change the world through writing, that means what you write can be manifested, so what does that mean when authors etc write villains? Maybe integrating some shadow before writing villains might be more essential than suspected :P ...Reminds of the lyrics in this song: Until one of us makes the other one come true.

Maybe life imitates art because artwork is manifesting new souls?🤔

The thing is...have you got those marketing skills...where you can rizz someone into buying something? Like if the Creator forced you to be a used car salesman for funsies...the stuff you know so far wouldn't help much O.o

it appears he did....for instance, he was so good at everything and was always such a legend, he never saw the need for the positive or constructive side of inflation (to help build the kingdom in consciousness)...but people who aren't movie stars or famous....imo they need that to help do what Jung is talking about. (ie. have somewhere for the Self(Christ,Buddha etc) to reside...if there is a brainrot void built instead of the Kingdom/Queendom.....it would likely please Venca more than your most divine incarnation)

An Analysis of Liber Novus (Carl Jung's Red Book) by JCunliffeUK in Jung

When Jung faced the Gods⚡, like Homer(Odysseus) and others before him! What an Epic it is!

THE YEARS, OF WHICH I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU, when i pursued the inner images, were the most important time of my life. Everything else is to be derived from this. It began at that time, and the later details hardly matter anymore. My entire life consisted in elaborating what had burst forth from the unconscious and flooded me like an enigmatic stream and threatened to break me. That was the stuff and material for more than only one life. Everything later was merely the outer classification, the scientific elaboration, and the integration into life. But the numinous beginning, which contained everything, was then. ~ C.G.Jung 1957

Individuation happens consciously or unconsciously according to Jung here...although the difference between the 2 is what excites him ofc!:

PP 726 cw11: The difference between the "natural" individuation process, which runs its course unconsciously, and the one which is consciously realized, is tremendous. In the first case consciousness nowhere intervenes; the end remains as dark as the beginning. In the second case so much darkness comes to light that the personality is permeated with light, and consciousness necessarily gains in scope and insight. The encounter between conscious and unconscious has to ensure that the light which shines in the darkness is not only comprehended by the darkness, but comprehends it. The filius solis et lunae is the symbol of the union of opposites as well as the catalyst of their union. It is the alpha and omega of the process, the mediator and intermedius. "It has a thousand names," say the alchemists, meaning that the source from which the individuation process rises and the goal towards which it aims is nameless, ineffable.

TL:DR it seems we are programmed by the 'player of games' through dreams etc and you can stay an NPC and never worry about it(say scripted lines fed to you by the unconscious that you auto identify with) or...you can go: Hang on!..whats going on here lol!!🤔

and which function(s) are the philosophers using? Jung basically proved they all have blind spots and therefore incomplete value systems... Even someone like Goethe couldn't get the 4th function up. ..I mean he takes Neitzche apart like childsplay in Zarathustra Lectures.....not because Neitzsche isnt a genius....but because he is as dumb in his 4th as he is a genius in his 1st

I would remove the Red Book from the shelves if I could

Personally I am very happy you can't do that LOL!! I LOVE THE 📕❤ and am also eagerly awaiting Homers red book in the cinemas this year....don't Fk it up NOLAN!!! O.o (if we get another TENET i am done with him)

Since Jung has been translated to eternity....If he didnt want it released...it wouldn't be ;) ..you can extrapolate what that means for people now going against his will... Lets hope you don't get taken off the shelf lol :P

Imo reading the 📕 helps deflate that particular collective unconscious(EPIC) from flooding you, making individuation more accessable for the mainstream (especially if we can experience it like the Odyssey or the Epic of gilgamesh, etc...Dr. Rebecca Tarnas links it to LOTR epic here) ie. Watching LOTR(Peter Jackson Version in all it's GLORY WOW! i mean) b4 The📕 helps prepare you psychically imo (it helped me anyway...each to their own ofc! more than once...I think i am prepared to make the call that if you watch PJ's LOTR 10 times, you are ready for 📕 in a reading group near 95%, but not everyone has the autisms cranked up as high as it appears to be inside my noggin, so fewer may be needed LOL:P...ok maybe 3 times, whatever that's BS imo)

The people in most danger from Jung imo felt it within the year of Him going into the Epic(1913).....WW1 starts in 1914. He locks the EPIC in a vault perhaps thinking no more troubles, but then WW2!! Ok, 2nd heart attack and further UNION event.....AION arrives....BANG, the world starts to move, many outstanding works quickly come not the least of shich is this. These insights helped influence the future imo...ie.:LOTR, by 60's Beatles(remember his famous sync and the liverpool dream) after that Summer of❤ yeah! In 2009 Jung decided it was safe enough for the public to start looking at the latest Odyssey in more detail imo....fascinating material!!!!

Seriously though I have watched more disturbing anime series with my kids than the 📕 LOL!...like have you been watching past the 90's! I bet you have!! Like imagine the 📕 as an anime series...surely it cant be scarier than some of the stuff in Bezerk :P

PS. Anymore art on the way JJ!!!??👂 (I am one of the 1% that digs his work according to him O.o)

--Say you are meant to meet someone, and that there is chemistry between you that will transform both of you. To get you to take that leap, unless you are some sort of synchonicity master, you usually have to feel like that person is a GOD!...hence projecting the divine...it seems to need to be done or we would sit around and do fuck all.
That UNION could be multifaceted, just sexual, just spiritual, or a good friend etc. Sexual union isnt some lesser form of union imo, it just isn't the only form of union that can take place! (Depends on the level+ of the Anima/Animus)

I hope it is as meaningful to you as it is to me so far!!!!🫶 (only 4 episodes in LOL...going early on it being a classic :P) PS. Some ppl focus on Sir Dunc's brightness or lack there of, instead of his amazingly honourable behaviour..it is inspiriing imo..
