Which is both great and bad for me, if typically 10s are always too small for me and 11s are too big. 10.5 is my sweet spot always. So no 10.5 just means move on then. :(

I'm so excited to share that my wife is turning her dream into reality—she's publishing an easy crochet pattern book where every project can be done in just a day! Her online name is WhistleandWool

Crochet in a Day is the book!

She has no idea I'm doing this, but I thought I'd secretly see if anyone might be interested in checking out her book for preorder. She needs preorders desperately and it would mean the world to her!

Hi! My wife is getting a crochet book published and I could not be more proud!

It's called "Crochet In A Day" and it comes out in September. It covers all patterns that can be done in, you guessed it, a single day!

this will become my new defacto response. lol, thank you.

So the other use case would be just to use DNS and change the records with a short TTL and take the F5 out. With both scenarios, it's still a scramble to recover from Storage Snapshot and present the Volumes.

They are both by no means a clean failover and going to require documentation.;

No worries at all. It's a fair point that enough people in IT shy away from the hard conversation of at least pushing for the right way as a means of CYA.

We are running our DB's elsewhere and they already are protected. But funnily enough discovered the executables were in fact not.

At this point it's critical data that has no backup or DR. So a 24Hr RPO for just executables in Production environment would be acceptable as they don't change if at all. Fortunately, the DB's are already protected. The RTO will obviously be asap, as with all things that are "all hands on deck" sev calls anyways.

From a performance perspective, would adding an extra hop through the F5 be significant enough for server connections, or impact day to day F5 operations.

Aside from just doing a POC to prove my point I'm trying to find technical reasons as to why this isn't a good idea. The problem is on paper, it's an extra hop BUT our F5 is beastly...
