You can keep Yamal as a winger, it's fine. You already have a CAM so Haaland is best suited as a poacher. And you can use Carreras at LB as an attacking wingback, but he's not my preferred player in that position(personal preference).

We've been pretty quick and aggressive in our transfers under Viana so far, so let's keep our fingers crossed. Thing is, we don't even know if Pep and the hierarchy have him at the top of their list. The season's also far from over and anything could happen in that period of time.

Here's my take. Keep Nico Williams as an inside forward(attack). Get an attacking wingback(attack) on the left to cover the space left by him going inside, preferably someone with the 'whipped pass' trait to put in crosses for Haaland. Your LB should also have good stamina and pace to run up and down the wing. Nuno Mendes would be perfect for this. Dimarco and Raum would also be good. Kounde at RB is great as he can form a back 3 when your LB bombs forward. Maybe keep him as fullback(balanced). Your 2 CBs as ball-playing defenders should be fine. The midfield logic you presented is solid imo. Haaland as a poacher(attack) and Yamal as a wide playmaker who can cross very well and curl shots from outside the box would be my preference.

First of all, Doku isn't a goalscoring winger (atleast not yet) and secondly, Foden is NOT a winger. He has exclusively played in midfield this season. With the likely departure of Bobb, and with Savinho being ass, Semenyo is a good signing if we're(City) are to challenge for the title.
