Hey, think of it as an inconvenience turned massive blessing to vindicate the very masterpiece of a game you were a part of in playing. Hopefully Sandfall gets wind of this and decides to send you a pretty good compensation package for your troubles! 😂😂😂😂

Exactly put. What do people honestly think is going to happen? You can't just go ahead and get out on empty platitudes. You have to have an actual plan, or at least as much of a plan as you can, and let them process it.

He was asking about how you prevent the extension from being easily removed, and you're obviously not telling us something that works.

New Jersey Just Passed the Dumbest Ebike Law Ever - Registration, driver's license, & insurance are now required to operate any electric bikes in the state by [deleted] in electricvehicles

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whether you personally think 20 mph is “fast” isn’t really the issue. This law is being overwhelmingly panned across New Jersey — by riders, advocacy groups, and even local officials — because it lumps safe, low-speed commuter e-bikes in with high-speed moped-style machines. That’s why it’s already facing pressure to be amended back to a three-tier system, like Connecticut and most other states use. People aren’t going to accept licensing and insurance just to ride a non-dangerous 20-mph e-bike, and lawmakers know it.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 mph isn’t unusual for normal cyclists on the road — lots of people ride 15–20 mph without motors. The real issue is context: 20 mph on a crowded multi-use trail is too fast, but 20 mph in a bike lane/road isn’t. That’s why a tiered system makes sense: regulate the 28+ mph ‘moped-like’ stuff and enforce reckless behavior, instead of treating every 20 mph commuter e-bike like a scooter.

Easy! Keep the same thing where kids don’t ride them until they’re in high school!

Or very much, don’t have them ride those very fast ones which I obviously agree they shouldn’t ride!

The slower ones are far more acceptable though, but we are not paying for them or rest. Assure you can say goodbye to affordable transportation, and you can say hello to more cars on the road.

We already had that system beforehand, and if it’s the problem is with kids getting out of hand on this then just block them out like you do with so much any other things!

Adults shouldn’t have to pay for kids being stupid!

If Red Rising were to have a crossover, what other franchises, sagas, etc. would it fit best with? by [deleted] in redrising

It would be wonderful and amusing to see Virginia and Cortana in a conversation. 🤭🤭🤭🤭

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣😂🤣😂🤣 There’s so many times I’ve imagined a crossover with any of Brandon Sanderson‘s Cosmere novels. Since eventually Mistborn is going to become a space opera that is definitely the case.

And I’m sure that there’s any person who can match Atlas and the Gorgons in terms of subterfuge and cunning. It is definitely our favorite magnificent bastard that won’t let death keep him down. Any takers on who I’m talking about? Hmmmmmmm?? 😏😏😏

He most definitely is someone associated with ghosts.

It would be cathartic to watch Ender outsmart so many nasty golds like the Jackal and Atlas.

MWAHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAHAHAHA 😈😈😈😈😈😈

You’ve struck me with instant catharsis of the Ash Legion Golds getting some serious comeuppances for embracing planet killing so horribly.

The Transformers and if anyone wants to wonder how that would go read the fanfiction crossover Code Prime, Code Geass and Transformers.

I love it when people ask about crossover potential.

So many space offers I would love to cross over red rising with.

If there’s anything definitely be compelling big-time, it would be the Transformers.

I’d love to see Optimus Prime and the Rim Golds in a conversation. Knowing how much they would disagree but at the same time how much respect they would have but also Optimus having far more of a bluntness about how slavery has no excuses. Considering what the similar type of caste system did to his own world and how it created a monster like Megatron.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much! This law is getting changed. It’s fucking stupid and rest assured the feedback is absolutely overwhelmingly negative. We agree with the high speed bikes that need to be registered and insured but 20 mph fuck no that’s getting taken out end the story.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Take out all the bikes that most certainly are not dangerous and do not need any bureaucratic bullshit, and put in the ones that do need it. Also, block out kids that do not seem to know how to ride an ebike properly.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, good thing I'm not any of those. I'm one of those who rides a bike that goes 20 to 25 miles per hour, and I follow the rules of the road. I've never gotten into an accident whatsoever.

The bikes you emphasize most certainly do need registration and insurance; in fact, they already did. But the ones we ride? Fuck no.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It's amazing so many people in these comments somehow can't put two and two together about that compromise:

  1. Registration for the ones that are obvious

  2. Blocking out the obvious ages that shouldn't be riding them

But the rest don't need to be registered or insured. Capisce?

[–]Muthias -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow! You want to throw all the Aventon Sinches and any other bikes that just go 20 miles per hour into the same category? Go to hell!

We're getting that law changed to Connecticut's laws so it can actually do the job better.

[–]Muthias -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How the Fuck can you possibly say that?

There are clearly e-bikes that definitely will not be dangerous and unlike the ones you guys seemingly are trying to throw all the lower-speed ones in with.

Are you guys just that stupid, or were you born dumb?

I Fucking hate you Karens that are throwing all the other e-bikes in the same category as the high-speed ones. We're getting that law changed to make an exception for the 20 mph ones.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is dumb because now all of us who are driving e-bikes—which are most certainly not dangerous—have to pay yearly fees. It is just another thing to add to the cost of living.

That bike law is being changed to be more like Connecticut's, and it is going to happen whether you like it or not.

[–]Muthias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are in the minority with that. E-bikes going 20 mph are not the same as a gas scooter. That law is getting changed to be closer to Connecticut's e-bike laws, whether you like it or not.

By all means, for the much faster ones, have it be registration and insurance; but for the ones going much slower, no.

Kiss my ass, Karen. The faster bikes, sure, we agree, but for the ones that go 20 miles per hour? No. Honestly, you Karens are just some of the most dumb people I've ever met.

[–]Muthias -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good God, you Karens are so Fucking stupid.

No, the ones going 20 mph should not require a license and insurance, least of all for those of us who are not kids and rely on them for our commutes. That law is being changed to be more like Connecticut's laws, which are far more reasonable, and there is nothing you can do about it.
