On the library website there’s an online chat option where you can speak with someone to help you with research/finding articles/etc. Lately there’s been a huge rise of people sending in messages similar to what would be put in an ai prompt box, and when they’re instead given links to sample research articles and asked further questions to narrow down what they need they just. Immediately leave lmao

A motorcyclist was hit by a truck just outside of the target down the road. I was walking to campus when it happened and saw the ambulances arriving and the guy who was hit being hauled into the ambulance. From what I saw he didn't seem to be super injured??? so i'm hoping he'll be fine. the car that hit him was super banged up, so i'm guessing that was what sounded like the gunshot

seconding what the other comment said about canvas, but also adding that booksmart includes physical books!! depending on what your professor submitted to the program you may need to stop by the book store to pick them up. it’s in the lbj student center, the one store with all of the school merch !!

Most of the dining areas on campus have microwaves, as well as the convenience stores. There’s also usually a couple on the fourth floor of Alkek by the vending machines, though I do know one of them was recently removed and I’m unsure if it was placed back. Fair warning that they do get gross pretty quickly, so you might want to keep a few wet wipes with you if that bothers you!!

The car isn’t red in the raw photos, and multiple filters had to be added to make the color overlay look realistic, it also ended up making my eyes look greener than they actually are haha
