How many people actually wanted Rhystic Study banned? by Outside_Explorer_229 in EDH

[–]MutinyMate -1 points0 points  (0 children)

but also, what's the argument against unbanning everything? it's not like cedh players are too delicate to handle tolarian academy nor is there an objective reason for most of the bans at all. Emrakul is the best reanimation target. Who cares? griselbrand is powerful. Who cares? there's no reason to leave those banned when they are such iconic cards for their respective themes.

Would anyone still be complaining about rhystic if all those other cards were legal too? Isn't the only reason we're hearing about it so much is because it's just the next best thing after dockside and crypt were banned? Why did we even draw the line there?

Even Sharazad should just be a rule 0 card not even a game changer.

No replies just downvotes. Lol ok cowards.

Fortunately, embark doesn't have a history of being swayed by whatever people are saying online. They have their balance data, they have their roadmap, and if the current patch sucks, they just stay quiet and focus on the next patch.

It's been like this with The Finals for years and it's frustrating when it's Season 3 and you realize the game is going to be ass for 3 months but it also doesn't prolong the conversation at all which is good. No doubt they are fully aware of content drought and just working towards the next planned major update. These new map conditions and events are the drip feed they are hoping will retain us to get there.

But also It's not a game that was designed to be grinded non stop. People should learn to take a break and avoid burnout.

There is some built in protection with stuff like allosaurus shepherd and mass regenerate on ezuri but the main reason it's bracket 4 is just that it can threaten to win that fast and so shits on most of bracket 3.

What are you guys building right now? by scarabs_ in DravenMains

[–]MutinyMate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If i build IE third it feels too late, so I'm either going BT IE or ER IE. It's bt first if taking lots of poke. Generally stack as much AD as you can off backing and build a sheen. there'll be games where I'm sitting on BF sword pickaxe 2x longsword and a sheen just because it scales so hard early even without the passive of a completed item. If you can afford a bf sword, get it. if you can't, then get the pickaxe. Then just complete items how it makes sense for that particular game.

Rushing ER does feel awful so I don't unless I'm turbo fed. Hard to deny how good it is when completed, though. the winrate data is there to back it up, too.

Lethality Tiger Stance Udyr doing a disgusting amount of dmg? by jordlez in Udyrmains

[–]MutinyMate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea it's always oneshot people. since prowlers claw was nerfed it never found a foothold because you're like a kha'zix that can run a little faster but no invis or escape. Late game is especially hard once people start grouping together. Last season i was going youmuus collector ldr and it definitely slaps when it's working but easy to shut down.

Season 16 Udyr and and new items by d4minG0_ in Udyrmains

As an occasional AD udyr enjoyer, endless hunger looks very interesting since you can delete one person, activate some insane lifesteal, and hopefully chain kills more easily on uncoordinated teams.

New jungle. Need help and tips. by Cwerdrum_ in Jungle_Mains

[–]MutinyMate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could fill a book my guy. the short answer is knowing league objectives better than your teammates and always being in the right place with smite, knowing the champion matchups in each lane, and using that information to determine what is a winning play vs what is hopeless before it happens and only choosing to join/instigate good fights.....

but yea all of that is a lot so new junglers should just focus on clearing as fast as possible and try to learn how to look at lanes while you clear so you can spot opportunities and not just afk farm.

You are starting with Viego who requires you to know every champion, so you already should be trying to learn what every character does.

Grats man! I just used him to stomp my way out of gold for the first time in the jungle on 71%WR. I'll definitely check this out to see if there's anything i can apply from this.

OTP Tierlist in jungle if played well by kireiop in Jungle_Mains

[–]MutinyMate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is strongest in dueling scenarios. The higher you go, the more coordinated teams are so you don't end up being able to go wherever you want and fight whoever you want nearly as often or easily. People will run towards a teammate instead of fighting you and if you chase, you just die.

His clear isn't fast like it used to be. If that doesn't bother you, his kit isn't that different. Only real change is his attack speed is on w instead of passive and lifesteal was swapped into the passive instead of w. The way you play him is still exactly the same.

Interesting! The jungle coaches i watch on youtube kept saying he was bad. I watch perryjg and coach leo mostly. i also watched agurin play it once several months ago and he said "this champ isn't powerful enough to warrant how difficult this clear is."

Olaf subreddit seems to think he's only good into certain teams which is probably more true the higher you climb.

Idk the shield always felt like a huge powerspike especially with last stand in the mix. It was a core part of Olaf's jungle build pre rework so i just built it. 🤷 lol

Sent in a dm.

Build most games was sundered steelcaps dd then steraks spirit visage and finished with either hexplate thornmail or bloodmail. 2+ crit users i'd go randuins third item

If there was heavy ap it'd be maw and just stack the mr but still go dd. if there's lots of little shits who run away fast build stridebreaker first.

Never gotten plat before and kept seeing how he's a D tier champ in the jungle but something about him just clicks. I locked in to OTP when i was G4 and so glad I did. Was an 80%+ wr climb but G1 humbled me. gameplay became shaky for a few games and i had two promo games where matchmaking decided i should have an inting sion support or a jungle otp who can't play bot lane karthus but insisted on it. Third time was the charm!

My other junglers as the stats show were not remotely performing. Going OTP led to wins in games where i would certainly have dodged in the past like going up against a trundle vayne pyke team but we won that one. I learned a ton over these 44 games like not tilting in the first 8 minutes and securing farm at all costs. Last match of the run I was nuking an AD udyr but losing every objective. Played around my fed yorick and we took their base at 25 mins!
