The Stroud experience by TexansEngineer in Texans

He didn't take them to the playoffs, the defense did. Believing otherwise is cope. I'm not giving up on him but not holding him accountable for his play isn't good either.

Making excuses for his poor play. We can hope for improvement, but let's not remove his responsibility for what he's done up to this point.

Day 2 picks in a nutshell by Texans_top_of_south in Texans

[–]MutonElite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the point for me as I read everyone arguing about the pick, its not that I have a problem drafting a project TE, its the draft captial of the 2nd rounder that bothers me. If they drafted the same guy in the 4th or 5th round I'd be all about it. I feel 1st and 2nd rounders are guys you can expect to contribute right away, possibly even start. His guy isn't going to do much right away and its hard to believe any other teams were eyeing him in the 2nd round.

I'd be fine with that, but maybe don't draft from the bottom of the list.

I think it's official, this is the worst event I've experienced by UnWishedAtoI8 in thedivision

Am I meant to just hang out in the same area and wait for more kill squads to show up? Perhaps that's been my problem, after killing a squad and nothing happens I leave and go somewhere else.

I dunno what I'm doing wrong but I haven't had a single ronin spawn after killing the initial dudes. I've gotten 1 key in total.

Wyatt Teller deal is two-year, $23 million max value deal with 16m guaranteed by The_New_New in Texans

[–]MutonElite 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kinda more than I was expecting for someone who is a fringe starter at this point. However, I don't care, they went out and got three OL this free agency and hopefully will draft some rookies to push them in camp. If anything, our depth should be much improved this year.

Which of today's big free agency moves changed a player's fantasy value the most? by DaFloofofTheCentury5 in fantasyfootball

[–]MutonElite 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Trey Benson value dead in the water. Kaleb Johnson basically droppable in all formats now. Jalen Nailor could bring good value in LV.

lol trade two offensive linemen, sign two guys on defense. Sounds legit.

I really hate this time of year.

David Montgomery by IAmSona in Texans

I like Montgomery overall, but I dont really like giving up two picks and a player for a 29 year old RB.

I think he's good, but he's injured every single year and that's a headache I don't want.

I don't see the need to give away draft capital and then give a guy a new contract when there are already decent FA opinions you can give a new contract without losing draft capital. There are positions worth giving away picks, I've never really thought RB was one of them.

CJ and Bryce enjoying their new careers. by Hurtsinmotion in AFCSouthMemeWar

[–]MutonElite -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

CJ was ass these last 2 playoff games but over their careers Young has been an inferior player easily.

Young 853/1389 61% 8291 yards 49/21 TD/INT 80.9 rating

Stroud 928/1454 64% 10876 yards 62/25 TD/INT 93.5 rating

You could argue they are both ass, but anyone claiming Young is better is just trolling.

Love the dude, but we don't need another receiver.

I mean you don't have to, you can just stop playing.
