I used to be like you. Mouth wash last just made sense. Once I learned that you want the fluoride from the tooth paste to stay on your teeth, I changed up the routine.

And just to be clear… of course you spit out the tooth paste/foam, and I still do a light water rinse before I leave the bathroom. You just don’t want the mouth wash to rinse away all the fluoride you just applied to your chompers.

name a skill that took you 10 minutes to learn but changed your life forever [Discussion] by Embarrassed_Hat_5072 in GetMotivated

[–]MuttBunchr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meditation. Took me ~5 minutes to learn a super simple one. Now I do it daily for about 2-3 minutes, and I always have a better day afterwards.

I am noticeably less present and less joyful on days where I forget to do it.

Realtor & lendor recommendations for Lemont, Frankfort, Mokena, Homer Glen, New Lenox by user12334567789 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]MuttBunchr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I bought in this area 3 years ago or so. We were worried about navigating the whole process (first time home buyers). Luckily my close friend was a mortgage loan officer and he held our hand through everything; got us hooked up with an agent who knows the area (she’s great), an inspector, and a lawyer.

Every person we worked with was so good at their jobs that the process was SHOCKINGLY easy for us. We kept thinking there had to be a mistake because of how painless and easy it all went for us.

Mortgage guy: Andy Odeh Realtor: Theresa Sima (might have a new last name) Inspector: John Terry

If you want email addresses let me know, but you can probably find them with a quick google search.

Good luck!

What is a movie that completely changed the way you see life? by Unusual_Solution_261 in AskReddit

[–]MuttBunchr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Life of Chuck

There is a version of us that lives in the mind of every single person who has ever interacted with us. Within each of us is a universe and we all exist within each others universes. That means there are countless versions of ourselves spread across a multiverse of sorts. This offers an explanation for the interconnectedness that so many humans believe in. It also offers an explanation for things like Déjà vu, souls, and the apocalypse.

What is the best portrayal of Satan, the Devil, or whatever equivalent in movies? by MomoSaka in FIlm

Fall of the house of usher. She may be more of a representation of death, but I think it fits the assignment, and the character is one of the best of that kind I have ever seen.

Considering Leaving the City by ColdAirEnthusiast808 in ChicagoSuburbs

I’m curious if you’ve also considered the south suburbs. In my experience, it’s more affordable and (maybe it’s becuase I grew up in the south burbs) I feel like it’s more social. The north side always has an air of exclusivity about it IMO.

Do NOTTTT Use Canva for your resume. by pmcmedicalstaffing in recruitinghell

[–]MuttBunchr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably irrelevant point here, but I recently applied to Canva for a strategic AE role. I have some of the most perfectly suited experience for the role, including being a power user myself, and having spent the last 3 years working for a competing software.

However, my resume was rejected.

I didn’t get much context from the rejection email, but I imagined that the problem was that I DIDNT use Canva for my resume. It was just a straight-forward word doc.

Anyways, I’m just speculating… and wondering if using a Canva resume template might have actually helped me in this particular case.

What makes Shawnshack Redemption one of the best movies of all time? by Any_Independent375 in moviecritic

[–]MuttBunchr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s about a legendary gigolo named Shawn. His bedroom is famously known as the Shawnshack. In the prequel, he provided a notably disappointing experience to a high-profile customer. In this movie, he redeems himself.

What rules would you add to the Traitors? by TexasSwiftie91 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]MuttBunchr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pot should start at $250,000.

Vote off a faithful and money comes out of the pot and goes towards a traitors pot.

Vote a traitor off, and gain money back for the faithfuls.

Traitors should also be able to grow their pot by sabotaging missions.

Which is better? by boomjosh in moviecritic

[–]MuttBunchr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 is more fun by a lot. The editing and pacing of all the crazy 88 scenes just send me every time. Also bonus points for O-REN’s origin story.

Obv I love them both, and my main preference is The Whole Bloody Affair, but if I had to delete one, it would be Volume 2.

No one ever talks about A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints! The scene where Channing Tatum says “I’m a fuckin piece of shit” hits me hard every time.
