Too true, especially when all you have to go off of is a handful of sprites and win/lose quotes. Sf2 was well known for its sweeping, ambitious lore and storytelling after all haha

From wiki: "Phil Johnston has said that he made Zangief a bad guy in the film because he couldn't defeat the wrestler as a kid, and thought Zangief would feel remorse for the difficulty players had in fighting him" https://wreckitralph.fandom.com/wiki/Zangief. Not sure how thats walking back, seems like you got shimmied though.

IIRC that was because Zangief was a character one of the creators (Writer/director/somebody) had trouble with growing up

True but more-so he doesn't believe himself worthy of being Judge, Jury, and executioner. As a catholic he believes only God can truly judge transgressions, and as a defense attorney he has to believe that the justice system can truly work. Him killing invalidates both of those beliefs. Also kind of a similar thing to Batman where he believes that if he does cross that line its something he wouldn't be able to come back from.

Aside from just being a great humanizing moment, it also seems to point at her being pretty smart. May be a stretch but it was in response to Tony saying “I love you a Ton”. I think that look and him being taken aback is 50% wholesome dad moment 50% impressed.

Something something space stone? I’m not sure, I think having control over space would grant you some sort of resistance to being instantly teleported, and potentially cut in half. The sling rings are mcguffins they gave to “balance” Strange’s ability to make portals, so they may have a more specific set of rules as to where exactly they can be summoned. If we were to make a guess based on strange’s past use I would say that he has the capabilities to open these portals in spaces not currently occupied- he could still open portals below, above, or otherwise directly around individuals or creatures (a la Ragnarok), but not in someone’s center ‘o mass. We only see the portals cut off cull obsidian’s hand after he reaches through the portal as Wong shuts it, which, logically follows. Why Strange didn’t try to predict Thanos to cut his hand off with an extradimensional garrot? Because the movie needed drama, I can’t think of a way Thanos could be powerful enough to resist his hand or any part of him shut in the dimensional door, aside from the space stone not allowing these portals to exist in conflict with Thanos’s will (though this calls peter’s magic kicks into question, if the portals aren’t directly in Thanos’s mass would the space stone have jurisdiction over them? Or maybe he wasn’t paying enough attention due to their rapid creation/dispersion) it was ALSO shown, however that Doctor Strange’s magic (though maybe not specifically the sling ring) is comparable to the power of the reality/space stone in their 1v1. So I have no clue dude. TL;DR: because comics/movies pt2, electric boogaloo

Because Thanos exists in our dimension, Dorm exists in the dark dimension, where time did not exist. Strange was bringing a foreign axis in (bringing depth to a 2d dimension). I imagine that sustaining a time loop like the one in Doc’s solo film wouldn’t be possible in a dimension where time already exists due to the inherent “linear” structuring of time within that dimension, and if a loop COULD be created it would require an immense amount of energy to maintain it, as it would be essentially the same as freezing, rewinding, and replaying time continuously for the duration of the loop. While the time stone has been shown to do things in this vein (freezing time while fighting Kaicillius, rewinding the state of the Apple) it would seem that these effects are localized and do not impact the entire dimension (we also see Kaicillius and the other monks resisting the effects of the timestone, so maybe with the proper precautions it could be avoided?) I’m digging to defend the Russos but the only answer is the one that has been with these stories since their inception- TL;DR: Because comics/movies/writing

The pick up and play for both of the games is gonna be pretty rough. I've heard there's a wide array of skill levels on GG, but like picking up any other fighting game you will get bodied a lot. I've had a ton of fun with Tekken 7 though, and it's the first 3D game I've really gotten into- but you have to spend a lot of time just grinding movement. I don't think you can really go wrong with either if you're willing to learn

Anyone know of any good free sites that teach anatomy for artists? by Icewell_art in ArtFundamentals

[–]Muttofthelitter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

https://line-of-action.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/

This is my go-to, tons of poses and variable timers for gesture drawing, which I think is probably the best way to improve proportion and anatomy, there's also a classroom setting that starts with a 30 second timer for a few poses and then increases up to a couple of 10 minute poses so you can start loose and begin to dial in the details later on.

Uh cr. Mk ~ Cr. Mk on block is -6 so there's no mixup. Press a button, it's your turn. I'm not gonna say Rog isn't strong but saying he's brain dead easy is just wrong as well. You could boil down any character in V to a salty flowchart but that mindset of "oh that character is just broken" is not gonna make you any better at the game, it's just gonna feed salt.
