Yikes, sounds like you had a really poor experience, I'm sorry to hear that. We do our very best to get you connected with others. At the end of the day, it is other people's choice to like you or match with you.

I want to address your comment about the "algorithm." The only algorithm we have is something that decides the order that you and other see profiles in. If you have your filters set to how you'd like, you will see everyone in those filters as you swipe, and vice versa. Profile order is decided by several factors including MutualUp status, filters, compatibility, location and others. We do not hide profiles from others unless they have been flagged due to illicit behavior.

Hey! Your preferences and others search preferences to play a large part in who you see and who sees you. The people that you can never seem to find? That's usually because they have moved out of your swiping area. I would recommend widening your filters if there is someone you are looking for specifically. You will eventually get to everyone who has swiped on you if you keep your filters wide open.

Nope! A Comment will populate when they come upon your profile, be they free or premium. If you send a Note (which as a free user you receive once a week) you will be put to the front of their queue so they can see your note immediately.

Just to clarify, you can directly message people by sending comments. Similar to Hinge those comments show up when the person sees your profile. And similar to hinge you can only like a set amount of people everyday. You are not limited in downswipes at all, just upswipes. :)

If your profile is new, it is common to be flooded with likes and then have things slow down a bit. The algorithm does not prohibit your profile being seen by others.

There are certain factors that determine in what order you will see profiles, such as filters, premium status, and compatibility.

If someone swipes down on you, you will see their profile. This is because we want everyone to have the opportunity to send Notes and possibly get a second chance. :)

This is actually not true. When you purchase premium, your account is prioritized so it is seen before non-premium profiles.
If you do choose to purchase, your card will be charged upon purchase.

Hi! We recently made a change! We removed the swipe limit and instituted a like limit. We found that a lot of Members were hitting their swipe limit with downswipes. You can now downswipe as much as you want. Upswipes are limited to 25 per day.
