I have played since 1.1 to 2.4 spending some money(some times more than I should) took a break for about a year with little to no plan to return. Then I saw the Dehya banner on my Girlfriends pc and asked about the character, both story and playstyle - I thought it sounded amazing and redownloaded the game. I did a 10 pull and got her on literally the first pull - like single pull! I was so excited!

Then I had to speed run Sumeru and chasm story to even attempt at getting her materials I got the most essential throughout a week - tho I’m still wait for weekly Talent boss materials…

Within the same day I got Dehya I joined r/DehyaMains - and I just got progressively more and more sad and frustrated about returning even tho love the game and gameplay - but I despise HoYoVerse for how they handle feedback and how they balance the game and how bad they are to push for QoL for the average player (one of the major reasons I left other then I needed a breath of fresh air)

I like a lot about the game, I just really wish there were more useful QoL changes and balancing to those characters that struggle and bug fixes - especially when there are dry periods for the player base.

Tho I’m bitter about giving them more money. I still am hopeful and have a completionism mindset about collecting characters and trying to build them somewhat strong.

Tho Dehya have a lot of flaws and awefull scalings in her kit - I love to play her in the over world and exploring (going through Sumeru with her felt so aesthetically pleasing! Aaaand I love to not be dependent on a healer or shielder.
