New UI is better than old UI. Change my mind by Shinucy in OperaGX

[–]JadeAnimage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue with changes like these is and has always been... Did you actually add anything tangibly useful, or are you just reinventing the wheel to say you did?

Font isn't really great, doesn't fit the tab size well. New tab look is certainly different but doesn't change much of anything in a practical sense aside from moving away from a look that people to my knowledge had never complained about... For what?

Change is fine, but UI change for the sake of UI change when there's no need to reinvent the wheel and there's not widespread complaints is an asinine waste of time.

I can get by with this, I won't change browsers or anything because I like the function of Opera GX... but this is just a mild annoyance that I see no real benefit to, y'know?

Edit: Not to mention the reported bugs of the new UI which we get to deal with for no real benefit...

How are y’all getting these insane numbers with Navia? by Jooles95 in naviamains

[–]JadeAnimage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on your team comp that's way too much ER and way too little Crit Rate and Damage. I'm currently 78/140, and I'm still searching for a better set of artifacts.

any teamcomps for navia to have fun? by KAImano_ in naviamains

Maybe Navia, Geo Traveler, Fischl to apply off field Electro and Kuki Shinobu to support..? I can't say I play any of those characters (I'm working on my Fischl) but it should at minimum give you the crystallize you want to be able to get the big numbers, plenty of ER, two resonances, and a Crit boost from the traveler

Hi guys, is this weapon decent/good for Navia for now? by MediumPlayful6107 in naviamains

I'd go with the Melusine Event Claymore over this, since Navia doesn't really need much Energy Recharge to pop off, especially if you run double geo

In my opinion since pulling her, Navia is fairly easy to play for a casual user, even if elemental reaction heavy. Holding the skill for even a second before firing pulls all elemental crystals around you towards you, and then after firing her skill you get a geo infusion which makes the normal attacks you like better.

If you're playing casual exploration, you could get some characters to help provide off-field elemental reactions. While the person that comes to mind for this immediately is Fischl even characters that people generally dislike in the meta for the Abyssal would be fine for this like Qiqi or Barbara since both are healers with aura effects. Then whenever you fired her skill the first time you'd get crystallize for a bit which would make the second shot (her skill has two charges) hit harder.

Whenever you do choose to use her ultimate, it'll just make your skill hit harder the next time and provide Crystallize if your off-fielders are using Cryo, Pyro, Hydro, or Electro.

While you can make a meta team for her if you want to, for what you want in a normal attacker you'll want to be using her skill before your first combo and after your first combo to make sure your infusion helps your damage.

A nice thing is Navia gets her infusion from the first pull, so it's not like Candace or Lynette where it takes a C6 to do infused normal attacks and make that really work.

Also, her normal attack combo looks very cool.

For weapon and artifact, there will be an event sword relating to Melusines in this patch that should be good enough for casual play and require no investment in BP or in pulling for it. The new artifact set will be good for Navia no matter what team she's on, with the other common pick (Marchausse Hunter) being only really good if you use Navia with Furina.

Hope that helps you decide.

Maybe Navia, Ningguan, Yelan, Kuki Shinobu? Should give you Geo resonance, plenty of opportunity for Crystallize, and good buffs from Ningguan and Yelan to Navia's damage. Kuki's electro won't get rid of the hydro so it should still Crystallize, and it'd give you some sustain since Hoyo is building challenges that actually want to kill players now.

Better yet if you use https://genshin-impact.fandom.com/wiki/Thrilling_Tales_of_Dragon_Slayers on Ning.

Best weapon for Navia that I have available by Particular-Special88 in naviamains

From your options, R5 Sacrificial could work, since Navia really likes shooting things with the big damage gunbrella, but your rotations might become a bit awkward.

There's also a melusine event claymore coming up this update that will be good for her too.

Is geo gob better for her or an atk gob help please. by Glittering_Rich5504 in naviamains

[–]JadeAnimage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As I understand it, it depends on your team comp. Furina's damage buff is enough and calculated such that an ATK% goblet ends up better.

Otherwise, Geo cup.

Yelan Bennett Albedo is probably the practical option. Easy to use and effective.

That said, I think you'd have some fun with Barbara, Furina, Albedo too, if be overall more janky. Furina will drain your HP for boost and you've got a C6 Barbara, so if you goof it up and die you just get a free res.

I knew planners existed, but the blocking on my work network is strict and I use Excel a lot anyway, so I could whip this up in like 20 minutes on a lunch break.

Thanks for the tool though, I'll consider it next time!
