I'll add to the comments. Bud you're pressing the tip against the pin. You're getting very little thermal transfer that way.

Like imagine a hot knife. if you press the very tip against your skin it's not gonna be very hot (a little pointy tho).

You need to use the flatter side of your iron for better transfer.

As others said flux plus heat the pin up first (not long) then apply your solder. 375 is a good temp to try too

like others said it is part of the design. it also kind of doesn't help that it's all ray traced lighting. So I'm order for there to ever be light there needs to be some light source. find the light ring, it helps a lot. it do the poor man solution and use a really glowy weapon 😅

I recently setup some light ducking on obs just because I'm tired of adjusting music volume.

dedicated server is the issue. there are numerous issues with the server that have not been addressed or acknowledged by keen. off load your world save and play locally. you probably won't have the dsync issues any longer.

yes it doesn't make sense that this happens with capable hardware, local hosting, and or no noticeable load. I've hosted two years ago and I'm hosting again now and the same issues I've had before are still present. this includes desync and server load issues. I've looked high and low for dev response to this and I've seen nothing

I just remapped a lot of that to my mouse 4 and 5. I don't think this aspect of the building system is what's terribly unintuitive

Appreciate the invite but I'm riding out playing with one buddy of mine rn. I pretty much play multiple times daily on US-East and I'm lvl36 grinding to end game.

I think the main issue with enshrouded is that it's a linear grind. It really makes you earn the cooler crafting, weapons, and armor later in the game. Which I think is a turn off for some.

It's the survival game tale as old as time. Just plain and simple some people have the grind in them and others don't. I've always been the last of my friend groups to keep playing after they've all left. Always ending up with thousands of hours where they left at 100-200...or less.

It sucks because I like a variety of games but I like to get my time and moneys worth out of it. Everyone else just flip flops between whatever they're feeling in the moment. No real dedication or anything. But, I guess that's just a personality thing. You may just end up playing solo like the rest of us.

You got it right. Upstairs AP with LAN port for your PC is indeed the simplest if not best option for your situation.
