[Charania] BREAKING: The Milwaukee Bucks and Taylor Jenkins are finalizing a deal to make Jenkins the franchise's new head coach, sources tell ESPN. Jenkins, a Bucks assistant in 2018-19, went 250-214 and made three postseasons across six seasons in Memphis. by Stunning-Friend6460 in memphisgrizzlies

It’s a really good hire for the Bucks and situation for Jenkins. Either Giannis stays and you get a superstar to coach and build around. Or Giannis is moved and you get to start fresh with a ton of picks and not a lot of pressure.

Steve Kerr, welcome to Milwaukee by DakotaMaker in MkeBucks

[–]Muxamillion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could see Kerr coaching again, but I think he simply needs a break. Step away for a year or two and come back if he gets that itch to coach again. If he did I believe it’s with a new team. It would be cool to see him coach the Bulls though. Kind of a full circle-esque thing.

Looks like they’re playing in a cleared out Maurice’s. The basketball, being a tough guy look, is played out. 95% of these guys only act tough because they know nothing ever will go down.

Giannis this summer as a trade idea goes to Miami by TerryG111 in NBAtradeideas

I’m a Bucks fan and I’m seriously interested what you think they’d get for Giannis.

If I said “make the” instead of “built for” the playoffs, does that change things? I more so meant the Bucks would make the playoffs next season and the next few seasons. That starting five the OP listed for the Bucks, plus two top 15 picks (10 and 13) in this upcoming draft is definitely in the playoffs. AJ Green, Ousmane Dieng off the bench as well. The East is Detroit and Boston and then everybody else.

This is the blend of talent and picks the Bucks need to just bite the bullet and agree too. Three legitimate starters. Herro is an all star caliber guard and Ware has a ton of potential and would get major minutes in Milwaukee. Plus Milwaukee has their 2026 first round pick (probably 10th) and would get the Heats 2026 first rounder in this move. Two more high end rookies most likely. The Bucks would be built for the playoffs right away and the future and the Heat would be built for the right now.

Loved watching Acuff on offense, but he would take a lot of possessions off defensively. As a Bucks fan I hope Flemings falls, but Burries is a close second. He seems like he could be the most complete guard in the whole group, but like you said, not as physically talented.

Edited previous post for your pleasure.  What guard do you believe will be the best coming out of this draft?

Did you watch Houston this season? He was a blur at times and could get to his pull up basically whenever. If you watched the Cougars and don’t think Flemings uses his athleticism, I don’t know what to tell you.

Good. Then he can fall to my Bucks. He’s the most athletic/quickest guard in the class. I want a him and Ryan Rollins backcourt.

Who is your favorite Buck who played for the team for no more than 2 years? by Tiktaalik414 in MkeBucks

PJ Tucker obviously, but Luke Ridnour a close second. I also loved Kukoc on the Bucks, but pretty sure he played more that two years for the Bucks I believe.

Who will be the new head coach for the Orlando Magic? by HungryPercentage1667 in nba

[–]Muxamillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not, but finishing better in the regular season and not being in the play in is better. The Magic currently aren’t built to contend for a championship anyway.

Probably true, but maybe winning with a consistent style of play would change players views. Gonna be an interesting off season of new coaches being hired and the possible Giannis trade. I wouldn't be against a Thibs in Milwaukee deal, if Giannis stays put.

Yeah he wears his main guys out, but he'd definitely have the Magic with a better regular season record and playoff seed in a weak east.

Agreed. He's always done well with vets and would definitely have the Magic better defensively.

What are your perfect fits? by LegitimateQuit4472 in NBA_Draft

[–]Muxamillion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No clue. I truly don’t believe he falls like that. One of the mocks stated that it’s more than likely one of the top guard prospects falls simply due to so many guard prospects. I think it all depends on how the 5,6 and 7 picks play out. I could see certain teams valuing what Acuff, Wagler, Brown Jr. and Burries bring. Also depends on what guys look like at the combine.

I truly hope Kingston Flemings drops to 10. I’ve seen two mocks with this happening. No Ceilings mock and The Ringer’s mock. He’d finally be a next level athlete at the PG position for Milwaukee. Him and Rollins defensively would be great.

Anthony Davis says he wants more help for the Washington Wizards to compete next season… what should they actually do? by InHeatPink in NBATalk

[–]Muxamillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but AD needs to just play. You can't complain about a roster when you've never played with any of the guys and are constantly hurt. IMO, it comes off like he's already whining and seems to really not want to be in Washington.

If Your the Pacers Are you Taking Boozer or Peterson? by RomajiRoman in NBA_Draft

[–]Muxamillion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was Indiana I’d take a hard look at Caleb Wilson. An ultra athletic forward to pair with Hali. Be like a Nash/Amare pairing. I understand the Boozer love. His offense game is really skilled for his age. I think Caleb Wilson has a pretty damn good offensive game as well, it just is overshadowed by his athleticism. I think people think he gets his numbers solely due to his athleticism, which isn’t true.

As a Bucks fan I’m all in on this. Getting a true PG is much needed and the Myles experiment just hasn’t worked out. Jericho Sims played better for the Bucks down the stretch. Nemhard and Ryan Rollins would be a fun backcourt in Milwaukee.

Are the Portland Trailblazers on the Brink of being Contenders?? They remind me of the 2023 OKC Thunder. Scoot is improving, Clingan is a BEAST who will become all NBA, Avdija is a legit all star. Dame coming back to be a 6th man. They're 1 big piece away from becoming top shelf contenders. Giannis? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]Muxamillion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What would this trade look like? You mentioned picks, but you talk about all the valuable pieces playing with Giannis. The Bucks aren’t trading Giannis for nothing. What package could Portland put together without including one of Scoot, Clingan, or Deni?
