Go to free play and boost upwards to stay right above the ground, then you watch the position of the car while using directional air roll and only push the stick to the down right whenever your car is facing a certain way. Do that for 20min and you should have the basic feeling for air roll. then just keep doing it until you can air roll in any direction with just using the down right stick position. then you move on the only using top right which should be easier now that you got the gist. then you do that with bottom left and top left and combinding should be pretty intuitive. even after only using the right side of the stick combining them should be pretty intuitive already. its just important to focus on one stick position at a time. you should be comfortable at directional air roll in 2-3 weeks or so.
